This is a beautiful bible. I love everything about it. The cover is black and pink and the font is easy to read. The perfect size to fit in your purse.

It is a beautiful book. Easy to carry in a purse. Fits in my hands. Very easy to read. I would buy this product again would make a nice gift.

I am a little surprised at some of the reviews for this Bible. Mine is exactly as advertised. Many folks complain that the Bible is too small however the dimensions are exactly as specified in the listing. There are also several comments that note that the print size or font is also too small. Once again it was exactly as described in the listing. As a matter of fact I am wondering if folks may be reviewing something other than this particular Bible. I think it's a great Bible all the way around. Unless folks are somehow describing a totally different product I just can't agree with their reviews. But to each their own. I love mine and would not hesitate to purchase it again for friends that are looking for a great compact KJV Bible

I bought this as a birthday gift for myself and it arrived on my birthday. It’s so perfect in every way, imo. It’s classic looking. Has the ribbon, the thin pages, large print, red lettering for Jesus’ words, compact- I wasn’t expecting it being so compact but it’s even better cuz it can be taken with easily! Has rose gold letters on front and rose gold page edges. My very first Bible I received for kindergarten graduation was a classic kjv Bible. Over the years and all the moving it has fallen apart. I’ve had lots of hand me down bibles and just recently bought more bibles- they’re more like books though and not like classic bibles so when I saw this one I had to have it! I love it! Highly recommend this Bible, it would be an appreciated gift.

The compact size is excellent for travel, and thankfully it doesn’t compromise on font size. The large print 10 point font is very readable and its overall design looks great. The cover can be a little bit stiff at times, but it still works very well.

I am writing this review on the basis of first impressions and functionality as I received it today and checked it for accuracy and function as a book. Also because to review the bible in a deeper sense would be highly subjective and personal. Here are my findings. The size is good and compact without being too small to hold. The print is the perfect size, being legible at normal book reading distance even in low light. While I suspect it will wear off (which is reasonable at this price) the gilding is nice looking. Other features such as the color maps and and verse finder are nice value adds that do not inherently detract from the text. A prominent negative review accuses this bible of being bootleg and missing pages as well as having bits about abortion and homosexuality in the back. I have found these criticisms to be largely baseless and I will explain why. I have already addressed the bootleg concerns in a previous paragraph. While I have not checked the entire book I have not found any evidence of missing pages. The table of contents has lined up exactly with the stated page and through several random page checks I have not found any chapters or verses missing or altered from the pure cambridge PDF I have. What I will say is that the pages are remarkably thin and have a tendency to stick together a bit, though they do it less as they are used. It could very well be that this reviewer failed to notice the stuck together pages and thus presumed they were missing or they are comparing it to a different version of the bible. Finally the bit about abortion and homosexuality. I have to presume this is referring to two parts of the verse finder under the subsection "what the bible says about" and lists some chapters and verses for each. While I can understand not even wanting those words to be printed in a bible, and I am not going to get into whether the verses listed for each are appropriate for the reasons stated at the start, I can't help but find this criticism to be at best extremely petty. The exact words of the review are "Also added sections about abortion and homosexuality in the back pages which was pretty weird and disturbing." which is a gross misrepresentation. To call what amounts to less than 10 words total a section is very misleading. It makes it sound like there are at least a paragraph each on the subjects when its really a series of verse references. Its not like they're spouting contemporary rhetoric or making apologies. CONCLUSION: For this price its hard to beat this combination of value and functionality. It has passed the sniff test for initial accuracy and by all appearances and everything short of a full 1:1 comparison is an accurate printing of the King James Bible text with some nice bonus features tacked on. Any objective criticisms such as the likelihood that the gilding will wear off or that the pages are pretty thin and stick a bit when new are all reasonable given the price. On its own merits this is a 5 star product. However I must dock 1 star, on principle, for this Bible being printed in China. While I understand that is a big part of why it is at a low price I would have gladly paid double or even triple for a bible of identical quality that was printed in a country that does not repress or subvert its teachings and persecute its followers.

Great little Bible. The font is surprisingly easy to read for a compact Bible, the cover is beautiful, and the best part...it has a concordance! I would love to see a premium Bible this size with these features.

Very good KJV Bible.

I purchased this compact bible to use as my on-the-go purse prayer bible. It is perfect! It has a very good concordance, one-year reading plan, and maps in the back. I has our Lord, Jesus Christ's words in red. The zippered cover provides sturdy protection while I carry it with me in my purse. The print size is larger than usual for a compact version, and this makes reading easier. I love the zippered cover because it protects all of the tabs I've used to mark scripture verses. Even though the cover is made of a synthetic material, it has an authentic leather look and feel to it. The embossing and gold details make this book look as special as it is. This would make a very lovely gift for someone who would like to carry a bible with them on a daily basis of for someone who will be travelling. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

It is indeed VERY SMALL. The font size is ok but not for people with visual difficulties. On the other hand it could be an excellent gift. It is for travelling. The pink is not "pastel" as in the pictures. The materials are such high quality. Definitely cute, soft and beautiful.
