Just working now; I had to make some cuts on the flange of the IBC tote outlet. As you can see, there is a lip that keeps the adapter fitting from seating all the way down to the gasket, so it will leak. If you carefully take a utility knife and cut away that flange, you will get a better fit. I had to do several adjustments, and finally had it where it was not dripping. I will go back and add some teflon thread tape to the tote to see if that will help seal it better. So the fitting is just a bit to long to fit without adjusting your tote outlet so it can screw down tighter.

I read all of the other reviews before buying, because I didn’t want to waste my time with an item that wouldn’t fit. On the contrary, it lined up perfectly with my threads. I do get a slight bit of leakage: I attribute it to thread depth. This cap is like 9-12 threads deep whereas my IBC lore spout is only maybe 5-7 threads deep. It’s possible that the seal inside of the cap hasn’t seated fully, causing the leakage, but it’s nowhere near a deal breaker for my application. I’d happily buy another if needed.

Poor quality. Threads pulled off on the male end hooking up the hose by hand.

I have two of the 275 gallon Tote Tanks and collect rainwater to water garden if necessary. These fittings easily fit on discharge outlet of the tote and connects to a garden hose. I have a pump that I purchased at Amazon and will run a sprinkler in garden.

Listed as fine thread. I had ordered this a couple of years ago and it was the correct one. I reordered the same item twice and. both times it was not fine thread. Could not use it and returned for refund. Ended up ordering the correct one from Walmart. I think the product was good; just not listed correctly. When I returned the first one, I stated that this was NOT a fine thread.

The fitting was fine for its task. Though hard to get worked up about a plumbing adaptor, this one is well designed and works as promoted.

Easy to instal

Perfect fit make sure to check the threads on your tote medium or Coarse. I recommend to install an adapter to the garden end to prevent stripping the threads.

Bought for an IBC tote that we use for rain capture. It fits perfectly and does what is expected.

This ibc tote adapter says that it is fine thread that attaches to the food grade tote but it is actually coarse threads.

This does not fit as described. It's a waste of time and money.
