Not being one to reinvent the wheel, I tried the Cookies and Cream Muscle Milk on the recommendation of my son although I did do my own research prior to embarking on this nutritional journey. As I had returned to the gym one year ago with a regular and vigorous workout schedule and regimen, I struggled to get adequate protein in my diet. This product allows me to get 32 grams of protein (equivalent to 5 eggs, 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt, 2 cups black beans); I dissolve it in 12 oz of cold water in a shaker bottle. Fearing the worst as pertaining to taste and texture, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it for the first time. Aside from the cookie crumbs in the product, the entire powder dissolved completely. The flavor was pleasantly sweet though not overly so, the texture was not gritty or chalky, and no lingering aftertaste remained. One of the best things about Muscle Milk is that it has been tested for over 270 banned substances which offers an added element of confidence and security in the product. I have been using this product for workout recovery and protein supplementation for about one year. Along with other dietary changes and a continued workout schedule my strength, stamina, and definitely muscle mass have improved. I went from being unable to do one sit-up to doing regular strength training and high intensity interval training workout classes at the age go 72. Of course this change is multifactorial, but the use of Muscle Milk has become an important part of daily physical fitness routine. This is the best tasting protein shake I’ve ever had! It’s not very chalky like most are. I got the Cookies N Cream flavor and it’s amazing. I mix mine with milk and it’s almost like I’m drinking an ice cream shake. Plus 32g of protein? Can’t beat that. I have a blender bottle and shake it really well and it’s not very clumpy at all, if any. Some little ones here and there but nothing like other protein powders!!! 100% will get again. The cookies n cream flavor✅

I've been working out with supplements for a long time now and this has to be one of my favorite protein drinks. When I started I used to use just standard/basic whey. It was cheap, did the job, and you knew what results you were going to get when using it. The only caveat was the taste and how many scoops you needed per serving. I used to mix mine with milk and a whole banana (blended) to get a really good flavor. But, at the end you still had this chalky taste in your mouth. I used several other brands after that (mainly from GNC and I don't recall their names) and all had the same issue. Price was a major factor and the taste was always something to be desired. In 2008 I switched to Muscle Milk and haven't gone back. I'm not a professional weight trainer or product reviewer, in my opinion whey is whey, i've gotten the same/similar results from all the supplements i've taken. The big issue with me is taste, and this brand has consistently been very pleasant and has yielded great results in muscle gain. So, in conclusion, great taste+right price+servings per container+great results=I will continue to buy this product. :)

I've had many different Cytosport products (Muscle Milk, Monster Milk, etc.) over the years. They are good products, I've had very few complaints outside of personal preferences, and compared to other things I've seldom had any problems such as stomach aches (or with some pre workout products feeling jittery or even sick). This one however, unless there was a mix up in the factory, doesn't seem like they put much effort into making it taste any different than the vanilla flavor. The last thing I had gotten was the "Collegiate" powder in cookies & cream, it had a mild cookie flavor (for a protein powder) and even had the little cookie pieces in it. This one simply doesn't. It doesn't taste bad, again just like their typical vanilla powder, but for what should be a better product from the other styles, if they changed their formula from the last time I had the basic powder it isn't a taste improvement.
