We have just had lots of sash windows renovated and we needed something to teach the ring to pull down the top sash. We were going to buy a pole hook from our joiner bit he actually said this one looked better than the ones he gets which you fit onto a pole yourself for a similar price. We got the brass and walnut finish. It seems very study and it was very easy to install its little holder between our two windows. The brass casting is good quality and it looks good with our period property.

Because this pole hook is always 'on display' in our bedrooms so guests can find it - we have very high sash windows - we wanted something that looked nice. This is a very high quality device that looks lovely. It has a thing at the end to hang it up on if you prefer to store it in a wardrobe, but we prefer to leave it standing beside a window.

Not the most cost-effective of sash window poles - but worth every penny! The best features are the quality of the materials - the wood and brass are both good quality

Nice pole hook for opening velux windows. The company offers different lengths - I wish I had read the details fully and requested a longer length as the standard is a little short for my purposes. I also received a little wall hook, together with fixings, so that the pole can be neatly stored away which is a really nice addition. You can also choose the wood finish and metal for the hook to suit your preferences. Sadly, I do struggle to close my velux blind with the hook which doesn't stay in the little runner at the bottom the blind very well, but otherwise, a really nice product.

We bought 2 identical window poles. They arrived well wrapped. Good solid quality. Metal fittings substaintial and well polished. The special upturned curved wall hook come with 2 screws and finishes of this product perfectly. We use them to open and close heavey out of reach curtains and have mastered hooking / pushing in the gathered pleats. This has removed pressure, force and frustration from our curtain needs, The perfect lenght!

I was looking for a clothes hanger shepherd's crook- the type you often see in stores for reaching items on tall hanging displays-all I could find had poor reviews. This item, meant for opening and closing sash windows had great reviews and while the hook style is not the ideal type for hanging clothing (usually more of a U bend in the hook)- so far so good. The length is good for our needs, the hook and handle/pole are very solid, and they are connected to each other securely.

Love this hook. Was shocked to have to buy a bar after having velux fitted! Far better looking than anything else I found, but notice that my velux window bar is very scratched. Have yet to get on a ladder to see if the scratches buff off. 🤷‍♀️
