Excellent infuser. Sits easily across a mug and the addition of the lid is very useful. The diameter allows you to add loose tea easily and the all but the tiniest specks of tea remain in the infuser. The stainless steel looks smart enough to leave on the worktop when not in use and although I’ve only had this a week, appears to be well made. Bought a pack of two, one for work, one for home.

This infuser is the best I've ever had, and honestly, I recommend going straight for this one instead of trying other cheaper ones first like I did.It's sturdy and durable, and can survive the dishwasher. It has plenty of room for the tea to expand, which it does easily, partially due to the perfect size of the holes, which let water in, and no tea out. It's the most functional tea infuser you could ask for. And for the price, it's perfect.

I’m glad I ignored the negative reviews – these are excellent quality, look great, and, if you’re careful when you wash them, last well. Mine are two years old and look like new. I use them for green and peppermint tea – I can get much better quality loose leaf versions much cheaper than the supermarket bagged ones. I wash them by hand about once a week.

Beautifully made tea infuser; the ultra fine mesh and strong top handle as well as the depth and capacity of the strainer are all well designed - to fit any mug, tea pot or even a tea cup. I brew the herbs in a stainless steel thermos flask, pour into this wonderfully functional over a jug - it is perfectly balanced, you don't need to hold it - pour the hot tea back into the flak, ready for first thing in the morning on an empty stomach - to get the medicinal benefit of 'herb dieting'. I looked at several and am very glad I chose this one - 2 in the box for a very reasonable price - BIG VALUE FOR MONEY. I also strain my freshly ground (brewed in a flask) coffee with this.

Awesome product, exactly what I needed!I had experience with smaller ones that sink into the mug, with the same dense mesh, but they would hang by a chain with a hook. That hook was getting attached to everything, plus the hooks for screwing the cap were damaging my cleaning sponge! All in all, it was a bad experience that was putting me off using loose tea, which is the greatest quality, really.But this infuser is great because it doesn't need to sink in, or a screwable cap - you can use the round plate it comes with as a cap, but there's no way tea could get into the cup. Therefore no annoying hooks, which makes it a breeze to clean. I'm a bit weary about leaving it in a wet environment too long, which might cause rust to appear, so I'm careful. It's too early to say, they're quite new.I was also worried that taking them out of the cup would spill tea somehow, but it's a breeze, there's no disturbance in the water.I'm really happy with them, I'll be making loose tea more often now!The cups in the photo are quite big, 330ml mugs, for reference. But I put them in smaller 300ml mugs as a test and they fit.

We have switched from tea bags to fresh tea leaves since buying this infuser. Which completely changes the taste - it’s so much nicer. The infuser is a pleasure to use and enables us to dispose of the used leaves easily (my wife puts them on plants which really does make them healthier). And - a nice touch - when you run the infuser under a tap it makes a sound like running your finger around a wine glass, which is lovely.
