I really want to like this. But the single-push power button on the side is too easy to push. It gets turned on by itself every few days as it jostles in your pocket. Meaning a lot of the time I need the light, the battery is drained. It happens so frequently that I'm still carrying my old keychain light (which this was supposed to replace), which makes me wonder if I should even bother carrying this anymore. They need to either require a double-press to turn on, or change the power button's design so it can't be turned on simply by your car keyfob pushing against it.The multitool gradually loosens up over a year, but it's fairly easy to re-tighten it. My concern is that it's scary sharp, and if it loosens enough it no longer locks in place. So if you forget to re-tighten it or don't notice it loosening, it can flip out as you're pulling this out of your pocket, cutting anything it brushes against.

Both end pieces were shipped attached together and there is no way to detachable them. I have spent literal HOURS trying to pry them apart and have damaged multiple tools as well as cut my thumb trying to separate them. Stay far away from this product and choose something better made.

This is a great little product, I just love having a flashlight like this on my keys, and it's really a high quality one and the fact that it's rechargeable is key, I get so sick of things requiring you to put a removable battery in it, like who on earth has time in their busy life to think about whether or not they have enough AA or AAA batteries it's so stupid it shouldn't even exist anymore, just make everything rechargeable for the love of God! Anyway, highly recommend this, I would go so far as to say it's essential if you have a key port.

I love the idea of a "customizable pocket knife" where you can swap out various parts to make it what you want it to be -This setup has the utility/multi-purpose tool module plus the Flare light module and the clip/outer trim piece. It also includes the Rush tool - which you need to disassemble the layers.I'de like to carry this on a flight - it says that its designed to pass TSA but my experience is that a lot depends on the specific person inspecting - I don't want to have to give this up because someone finds the "not a blade" sharp parts too menacing (its too cool) - but I will be carrying the Flare with me on my next flight -The Pocket Flare light is nice - three modes - all useful and the area light is nice for larger areas - very compact for a rechargeable with as much light as it produces.Because each tool has its own side plates on both sides, its not super tightly packed. With three modules, it would still be manageable and have a nice heft to it without being too bulky for a pocket but it is a little bulkier than average - still a very functional tool and a cool idea -The whole system seems to be very well made - quality materials, very precise and well finished -

The Flare 2.0 and MOCA2 fit a need I didn't know I had until I got it. The flare itself is well built and improves upon the 1.0 in many ways. It is much harder to accidentally turn on in your pocket and is significantly brighter. It also feels much sturdier as well. The MOCA2 multitool is a nicely machined piece of kit as well. I know I'll be using the bottle opener and box opener most of all. The bundle is nicely put together and just feels solid all around. I know I'll be using this for years to come!
