UK to US Plug Adapter

With my family coming from other countries, this works great for all their charging needs. This is also a good surge protector to have if you are planning to travel to places that use US plugs and want that surge protector. That being said this device is a fairly decent size so it will take up a good amount of space in your bag. It has six different plugs and they are all universal plugs. This makes it great for my family who are traveling in. They do not have to worry about having different plugs and can plug in their devices. Next I would say this can work for several big devices like TV and computers. For my family, I used this for their travel devices such as their laptop and cellphone chargers. They have several different devices that requires power. The plugs are pretty far apart from each other so you do not have to worry about the plugs getting in the way of each other. This makes it ideal for plugging in power brick devices and other large powered devices. You do not have to worry about losing space because the power brick is too large. So if you happen to have a huge power brick you want to plug into this, I would recommend getting this as there is plenty space to be plugging those in. That being said it can handle six plug devices plus four USB. It protects your devices in case of overload which is a plus. The device has the single button to turn the device on and off. It has a good amount of cable length from the actual device which is nice (six feet in length). You do not have to worry about it being too short and the cable is pretty thick so it is well insulated. You can run it further away from the wall. I would recommend using tie downs if possible to keep the cable organized and clean. This is not a right angle wall plug so make sure not to have anything against the plug to avoid damaging the cable. I do like it having the extra four USB plugs. My family does not have to pack that extra USB wall plug to charge their phone or tablet anymore. It frees up space for other things in their bags. The overall design is nice as it gives you three ports with extra space. I usually like to have this when my family from Asia come to visit so they do not have to worry about plugging in any extra adapter. You can power everything you may need (obviously don't over do it with plugging in high power devices. The plugs inside are very study so you do not have to worry about any cable easily being pulled out. The USB ports are not fast charging though so if you are planning to use this for tablet and phone charging be aware of that. That being said it does have enough power to keep a fire stick on without issue. It does not generate too much heat but keep it in open air if possible. Overall this is a good surge protector to have for those travelers. You get a good amount of plugs and USB ports so you do not have to worry about running out of ports.

Very happy with the build quality. It's super convenient for plugging in devices with US, EU, and UK plugs all in one place. Highly recommend!

Who Should Buy: This is a 5-star solution for international travelers or home office users who need to plug in multiple bulky power adapters. Who Should Skip: Those whose only priority is finding a hub to fast-charge a 65W+ laptop via USB-C should stick with their dedicated wall charger. I picked up the Jumpso 3000W Power Strip to replace a crowded desk strip and to end my pre-trip ritual of digging through a drawer of international adapters. After a month of daily office use and one trip to the UK, it has earned a permanent spot on my desk. The widely spaced AC outlets are the hero. The listing claims 2.1 inches between them, and this is no joke-they easily fit my giant 140W laptop brick and my bulky camera charger side-by-side, finally letting me use all six outlets. The 110-240V universal system handled my 220V appliances in London (with a simple wall adapter) without a single flicker, and the 3000W rating gave me total peace of mind that I wouldn't melt it. There are minor limits. The built-in USB ports are best for convenience-think headphones, e-readers, or overnight phone charging-but they won't replace your dedicated 65W fast charger. And it's robust, not tiny, so it's a "throw in the suitcase" item, not a "fit in your pocket" one. Compared with a typical small travel adapter, this can safely run a hair dryer or gaming laptop, which those tiny hubs absolutely cannot. An unexpected win was the wall-mount slots on the back; I'm getting a second one to mount permanently behind my TV. Verdict: 5/5 - Ideal for international travelers or home-office users who prioritize high-power AC versatility and true outlet spacing.

This thing is very good. It isn't 'smart' tech, of course, but I searched for a power strip with this exact layout for a long time. Since purchasing it, it has worked for many years without any issues. There is no significant heating at all; the USB ports warm up slightly, but it isn't a major concern

I bought this because I travel a fair bit between the US and Europe. I live in Delaware now (used to be in Florida), but work and leisure trips take me to the UK pretty often. I got tired of packing a separate adapter for every device – phone, laptop charger, tablet, watch – only to find one outlet in the hotel room. The idea of a single power strip that accepts US plugs (my devices) but plugs into a UK wall socket? That sounded like a win. My expectations were clear: I wanted to plug in multiple US-style devices without needing a fistful of adapters. I also wanted USB ports to charge my phone and earbuds overnight. I didn't expect the USB-C to fast-charge my laptop – I knew that was a stretch. I just wanted convenience and reliability. Let me break down what I found after using this on two UK trips. The positives (what actually worked) The universal outlets are legit. I plugged in a US laptop charger, a phone charger, and a camera battery charger – all at once – and everything fit without blocking each other . The outlets are spaced about 2.1 inches apart, which is enough room for bulky power bricks . The 6ft cord is genuinely useful. Hotel outlets are never where you want them. Having that extra reach meant I could put the strip on the nightstand instead of crawling behind the bed . The 3000W rating is overkill for travel (you'll never draw that much from a hotel room), but it means the strip doesn't feel stressed when charging several devices at once. Some reviews mention using it for small appliances like a TV or mini-fridge, though I haven't tried that myself . Safety features are decent. The overload protection and child safety doors give some peace of mind, especially in unfamiliar hotel wiring . A few users online have mentioned occasional sparking when turning it on, but I haven't seen that with mine . The cons (things to know before buying) The USB-C port is slow. Really slow. It's rated at 5V/3.1A, which is about 15 watts . That's fine for topping off a phone overnight, but don't expect to fast-charge an iPad or – forget about it – a modern laptop. One review site specifically warns that the USB-C won't handle high-wattage laptop charging . I use my laptop's own brick for that. The build quality is okay, not premium. Some Amazon reviewers say it feels "plasticky" . I'd agree. It's not flimsy, but it's not rugged either. Fine for gentle travel use – not for tossing into a checked bag with heavy gear on top. It's not tiny. This isn't a single adapter that fits in your pocket. The strip is about the size of a small paperback, plus the cord. It'll take up space in your carry-on. Several reviewers mention this as a downside for minimalist packers . Real-world practical use On my last trip to London, I used this in a hotel room with exactly one free outlet behind the dresser. I ran the 6ft cord up to the desk, plugged in my Dell laptop charger (US plug), my iPhone charger (into USB-A), my wife's phone (into the other USB-A), and a portable battery (into the USB-C). Everything charged overnight without issue or heat. One thing to note: the strip's plug is Type G (UK), so it works as-is in the UK. But if you're going to other countries, you'd still need an adapter for the strip itself – the "universal" part is the outlets on the strip, not the wall plug . Read carefully before buying. Value for money For the price (usually under $25-30), it's a solid deal. You're getting six AC outlets, four USB ports (one USB-C), and a long cord in one package . Buying individual adapters for each device would cost more and be more annoying to manage. That said, if you only need to charge two devices, a simple plug adapter is cheaper and smaller. Did it meet my expectations? Mostly yes. I wanted a UK-to-US power strip that works, and it does. The USB-C being slow was a mild disappointment, but I went in knowing that thanks to reading reviews ahead of time. The build quality is average, not amazing. For hotel rooms, cruise cabins, or short-term rentals? Perfectly fine. For heavy-duty daily use or powering a workstation? Look elsewhere. Final Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. Loses one star for the slow USB-C charging and the slightly cheap-feeling plastic housing. But for solving the specific problem of "I have US devices and a UK wall outlet," it's hard to beat at this price.

Make sure you keep track that this is a plug adapter NOT a voltage adapter. The plug slots will fit American (110v) plugs, but do not step the voltage down. If you are not paying attention, you can fry some electrical devices. The plastic of this adapter feels very brittle and cheap, but so far it has held up fine. The power indicator is very dim. This is a good thing for me. I don't like powerstrips that light up the entire room. But you have to get a good angle to tell if it is on or off. The on/off button is recessed a bit and feel fragile when I press it. It hasn't broken, but I don't trust it to hold up. The USB ports are well placed, easy to find, and all work.

nice product

I needed to find a converter/adaptor for my guest who was arriving from England. I hadn't even thought of the fact that he used a UK plug. So I went searching, as the room he was staying in only had 2 outlets. This worked out perfectly. I had enough universal outlets to plug in the electronics he brought with him, and for me to hook up my spare tv alongside. The usb ports worked well for his phone charging. I will buy one to go from the US to the UK when I travel to visit him now.
