Great tool for crafting, the fine nozzle allows for control and precision. The ability to turn on and off is also a great feature.

Works like a charm

I am very glad I finally bought a full size gun. So much better than a cheap mini gun. I have only used it on one project so far - securing automotive dash vents after the tabs/clips broke. I plugged it in about 15 minutes before needed, so don’t know how fast it heats up, but it was hot when I got to it. It was loaded with Gorilla brand glue sticks and I only had one very small drip in about 35 minutes of use. I was using the most narrow tip. The large wire base seemed stable enough, I mostly used the little stand near the tip because I needed to get into tight spaces and the wire base got in the way. The base can be easily removed if needed. It does use the 0.44 inch sticks. Lastly, this brand is also sold in a national store, so I was more confident that it would hold up better than a no-name brand. Also, being sold in an actual store indicates that it meets appropriate safety ratings. It is UL listed and double insulated (electrically). FYI, meeting UL generally guarantees that it is safe to use and won’t cause injury/shock or fire from poor design. Make sure all ac-powered electrical devices you buy are UL, ETL, or similar listed.

Disappointing quality, lack of facilities. Frankly its not good enough to be on sales at this price. The wire younseeinsertedin the base to make a stand - does not work. It clips on the front OK but no way it will stay in the slot in the base. There is no ON/OFF switch. It does not heat up as quickly as claimed. The cable is only 3ft!! It also drips so thats also a wrong claim. I use a Surebond gun & its been left on for 14 hours, works great, has an switch & the stands work. Its a but discolored at the tip but otherwise its been a great workhorse. However I wanted the extension nozzle that comes on this one but I will only use it for jobs that need it. Buy the Surebond - it works great & an ON/Off switch is an essential feature!

First off, the glue it comes with is cloudy and cheap. But I didn’t buy it for the glue. It took pliers and a wrench for me to be able to get the tip off. I had to take the whole silicone cover off it of and crank it with a wrench to get it to unscrew so I could change tips. Other than that, this is a great gun! Takes a while to get used to the on/off switch, believe it or not. But it heats up quite quick, the trigger is comfortable, and those precision tips are fantastic.

I do a LOT of mixed media crafts. One of those categories is making "Overlays" (Onlays/Appliques) by using silicone moulds to make detailed flourishes that then get attached to solid surfaces. The materials to make these overlays can vary, but I prefer hot glue. I now have FIVE hot glue guns ranging from the best of the best, to lower priced, but very nice glue guns. I have arthritis issues with my hands that unfortunately make my overlay making sessions painful and short lived. The time that I get to make these pretty things has now been greatly increased because of this awesome glue gun! The precision detail tip allows me to get into the mould deeply, which enhances the details of the mould, while cutting down on air bubbles. The extended trigger is a LIFESAVER! I can use two to three fingers on this trigger which is using more of my full hand strength instead of just trying to use a single pointer finger on a small teeny trigger. It has really been a game changer for me, and I have not picked up ANY of my other glue guns since I started using this one. It. Is. AWESOME!

I am extremely satisfied with this glue gun. It is full sized, has a large trigger that is easy to manipulate, and the alternate tips are awesome. I've found I prefer the long needle tip nose as it can get you places a normal tip cant. It is excellent. This is also durable: I'm sad to admit this but I once plugged it in and left it on for 24 straight hours. The house did not burn down, the gun did not melt, and in fact, there wasn't even a burning smell in the room. It self regulated just fine and still works just like the day I got it. I will order another if/when this finally bights the dust, but after my little "experiment" I have a feeling this will last a long time! Side note: this is a full-size glue gun and takes the larger sticks, not the small ones that a craft gun takes. There are plenty here on amazon. Fantastic! I have tried a few different guns but this one is perfect. Easy to pull trigger, heats up quick and keeps pumping out glue. I build styrofoam planes and need long runs of glue and this gun works perfectly. The 2 extra nozzles are really good depending on what I am making or repairing. A great buy.
