great bit for a great price
this thing is a beast, and went through some tough concrete with extrelmely hard aggrigate. I didnt have a drill press, so i just winged it with a Dewalt, and it went fantatstic. One thing to note, there is no pilot bit with this, so i did trace the diameter of the bit, and use a smaller bit to get this to be in the concrete 1/8 of an inch, but a little prep and it was off to the races

Worth The Money
I almost rented an SDS Max and 2" core bit from HD which would have been $157 for the four hour minimum. I own the SDS Plus 8 amp corded so I opted for trying this to save Ma money for her new water lines through 8" of 1960's concrete basement wall. I was drilling about 6' high from the inside out and my biggest concern was hitting rebar. That was the biggest concern until I started drilling. I did everything I could to mitigate hitting rebar using strong magnets, stud finders, measurements from known rebar locations, etc.. I calculated as best as I could and that part paid off because I didn't hit any rebar. However, I spent a total of about 30 minutes drill time getting it punched through because of the jokers who used inch and a half aggregate in the concrete mix. The bit did its job and still looks really good for what I expected. The bigger aggregate made me work harder and when I wasn't fighting getting through a mini-boulder it made dust and would eat almost an inch a minute. I only had 3 mini-boulders and 2 were at the same time which is what really slowed the progress. The bit slowed down on the larger rocks and I had to be patient and let it cut its way through, but it still cut smooth even when it was gnawing its way through them. I was expecting to affirm or deny its ability to handle rebar, but fortunately I was unable to provide such information. Overall pleasantly surprised and happy with the price and quality. Saved $$ and time overall. Plus, I now own a 2 inch core bit if I ever need one again.

Happy I found this
Used this core drill to make a whole for plumbing in an old 6 inch concrete slab. I am sure there is better core drills but if you need to drill just a few wholes this one works very well and there is nothing to complain about. It might even drill many wholes. Built quality was satisfactory and the size is accurate. No whobble and the adapter sits very well in the thread. The price is great too.

Almost perfect
The hole saw is 5 stars, but the SDS threaded bit shattered while cutting my 6th hole. Fortunately, it also came with a threaded bit for a drill too. I was able to finish my project.

Worked excellent and saved my time and effort!
I specifically only bought core bits with the SDS plus and hex adapters. I also used the pilot bit that goes inside. I had it from another core bit I purchase so I didn't get it with this one. The reason to only buy SDS Plus and not the SDS max is that finding an SDS Max that has drill only mode is RARE. Most hammer or hammer/drill where the SDS plus has all 3 modes and drill only is what you need here. The reviews that show a torn up bit cannot be anything but used in hammer mode no matter what the idiot says in their review. I cored through 8" block walls for electric lines and it worked excellent. Light pressure and a few minutes and right through. Most of my holes ended up on thick parts of the block where the core came out solid and not just two little round discs. I also bought a 3" and it worked just as well. I don't see how I could have done this without the core bit. Yes drilling many smaller holes and punching out the center works fine on both surface areas but not so well in the middle and the ridges are hard to get out with a chisel later as I needed to fit a sleeve in. No way to do it without oversizing the hole using something other than a core.

Works great with 18v hand drill
Worked great for me. Using an 18v makita drill I went through 8.5 inch concrete in 15 minutes. Changed the battery once. Ran dry (no water). Beat my expectations.

This device worked very well in asphalt . The addition of water to the hole kept the bit cool
this little core drill worked beyond expectations n cutting through asphalt. The instruction to use water when drilling into horizontal surfaces was helpful but a little messy.

Good Budget Core Bit for Limited Projects, Not Heavy Daily Use
I used this SALI 4" diamond core drill bit for a couple of concrete drilling projects where I needed a reasonably priced option without stepping up to a much more expensive professional-grade bit. For the price, it performed better than expected. It cut cleanly through concrete and maintained decent speed as long as pressure and cooling were managed properly. The 5/8-11 thread fit securely on my equipment without any issues, and the laser-welded segments appeared solid during use. For occasional work, this is a good value. It’s capable enough for homeowners, light contractors, or anyone tackling a limited number of drilling jobs without wanting to spend premium money on a bit that may sit unused afterward. The drilling depth is also useful for thicker walls and slab penetrations where shorter bits become limiting. The reason this isn’t a 5-star rating is durability over extended use. In my experience, this is more of a one- or two-job core bit rather than something I’d expect to survive heavy daily professional use. It works well within its intended price range, but if you’re drilling large numbers of holes commercially, you’ll probably want a higher-end bit with longer lifespan and faster cutting consistency.

Funciona tal cual esperaba
Excelente. De momento he hecho solo una perforación pero todo excelente. Es un poco complicado comenzar la perforación pero después de eso fue rápido y fácil terminar la perforación.

Quality 4 ‘’ core drill for thick cement wall
A quality 4’’ core drill for cement wall surpass my expectation , it took about 10 minutes to drill a 6’’ deep hole. Hope it may last a few more times. It would be great if any a guide drill to help startup

Muy importante resaltar que solo se usa con giro, sin percutor o rotomartillo
Es perfecto para el orificio de tuberías y cables de minisplit, sorprende el nivel de filo, puede cortar varilla corrugada
