Hot Bee RC Train Set for Kids, Alloy Steam Locomotive with Cars and Tracks

Bought for a 5yr old. Great train to start. Smoke was awesome reminds me of my youth with HO set I got for Christmas. But, the bigger size was easy for the child to get on the track.

This train was easy to set up and worked great right out of the box. We charged the battery - took about an hour. The metal engine is heavy duty and looks like the old time train engines. Smoke works great. You only need to fill the engine with 1/3 of what the water bottle will hold. Remote is easy to use. All around well made train!!

This product like the others I have bought are just fine, I would say good quality. I bought 3 sets last year and they are still going strong. A few days ago i bought another set, this one is has rechargeable batteries. I was ready to have more fun only to find the battery pack is missing, so it's sitting on a table in my "train room" collecting dust. I'm am waiting for a response from the seller to remedy this situation. I would hope an exchange would be appropriate, so we'll see. I do highly recommend these products.

This is a good Train for the price! Last year we had a little Christmas train that did not have a remote control. This one having the remote control is really nice and even my 2 1/2 year-old grandson learned how to work it within a couple of days, but I still recommend adult supervision as toddlers are playing with it. The sound is not too loud but loud enough. The smoke comes out of the top and the sides, Which adds to the fun. I did purchase the added warranty for three years just because it was only $8.99 and I think it is worth it. I think we will keep it out all year and not just for Christmas.

I had a train set when I was a kid that had a transformer and would dim the garage lights when I was running enough trains on the 4' x 8' plywood platform that raised and lowered from the ceiling. This train isn't that at all. The cons: * This train has a piezo smoke generator that works a little, but not good. * The water thing is too easy to overfill and the instructions say over filling it can cause damage to the circuit board. * The wheels are pretty difficult to get back on the track as they all swivel and are plastic. * There are a lot of little parts, like the clips required to hold the track sections together. We find these don't stay on well and are easily lost. * Each train car also needs a little plastic piece to hold the train together and they are also easily lost. We are currently using a bread tie for one of these we can't find. * It takes a while to charge and the connector is a PC board fan type connector, I wish it were just USB-C Pro's: * The train runs for a long time on one charge. * the remote works well and the train takes off like it's a heavy train, so it's a good simulation and it has a "whistle" but it isn't the greatest either.

A mi hijo le encanto este tren , pareciera de verdad , solo que está en tamaño miniatura. Nota humo y hace sonidos. Realmente es un buen entretenimiento!!

Set up and fully charged battery. Had 2 units fail EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. Reviews of this particular model show history of same issue. Works great for a few days. Sound, steam, forward, reverse and speed controls all perfect. Then... train will turn itself off and on repeatedly. If you turn OFF the steam function the train will work normally BUT THE STEAM IS THE COOLEST FEATURE. $69 (after $20 coupon) so my expectation was it would work properly. Super disappointing that the trains are being sold with this known defect. Returned both. Maybe the less expensive versions are better but i don't trust the brand.
