This item is exactly as described and pictured from the photo. I own a 60-inch recurve, and there's plenty of room from the stringer itself. The tips of the string itself are well-secured. If they were to slip, which is what happened with my last stringer, the price is reasonable enough that buying another would not be a huge turn-off.

Perfect tool for stringing our bow

It made stringing my bow much easier and safer.

I've never used a stringing tool before, but it's a major aggravation saver, and much better for your bow. This one is effective and easy to use, slipping right on over the tips of my recurves--so much nicer than muscling the through-the-legs method. You can also leave it on the bow while it's unstrung, saving a step, which also serves to protect the tips of your limbs and keeps your string from slipping off. The only potential flaw to be aware of is how the cord is just slipped over the end-caps, not secured by anything other than tension. If it doesn't stay put in it's little hook, it will slip off and out of the cap, and you'll need a tool to get it threaded again. Make sure both ends are properly in place before you use it to save yourself the aggravation. And beware: My cat does think it's an excellent toy.

Love the little “shoes”. So much easier to handle. And the pull is great. Had to replace after my husband cut the other one up because he didn’t know what it was and needed a pull string for my petite elderly mother to reach the ceiling fan pull string. Ugh. His heart was in the right place!

I love this stringer. Took me a little bit to figure out since I've never used one before, but now I'm very happy with the purchase. Once you know how to use it, stringing a bow is super quick and easy, and very safe. Would buy again, considering how inexpensive it is.

Works on my takedown bow

I have two other bowstringers and I always had a problem . One has a small rubber block meant to slide on the limb , which always fell off the limb whilst I was trying to slide it over the string. The other had a leather slider , which hadn't the capability of sliding up the limb. I was using a lot of time and exertion trying to string my recurves with them. Though now ,comes this perfect implement, no sweat ,no struggle , no frustration . Perfect !!! Couldn't be happier !!!!!!!!!! Thank You !! Alan P.
