Assassination through space and time! For four decades, Golgo 13 has been the world's greatest assassin for hire--sometimes to settle a private score, and sometimes to change history! His real name and nationality are unknown--but his legend is everywhere. G13 never fails a job, and never sees his clients again--unless they try to betray him! Headhunter 1983, New York: When an investigator looking into a shady corporate acquisition is run over, his grandfather hires Golgo--but the old man is no armchair spectator to revenge! Then, flash back to early in G13's career: It's 1972, and Golgo has just broken two of his own rules. He's seeing a client again because of the other broken rule: he failed to carry out the job! Plus film director Macoto Tezka, son of Phoenix 's Osamu Tezuka, discusses the media image of the legendary assassin! Review: Immersive Developed Stories!! - Both of these stories had more meat, what I mean about more meat, is more depth than a standard assassination. I've throughly enjoyed them. Get it while you can. Review: Interesting and fun to read. - I am new to this manga stuff, so I am not an expert with this type of comic or any comic for that matter. But this one was a great read, so much so that I've bought volumes 1 through 13. All of them great. The graphics were pretty good for b&w but overall good. The theme was interesting with different stories in every book. I would reccomend this just for short casual reading.

Sometimes, Fate Had Other Ideas
G13 took assignment and went and locate his target. Had M-16 up and ready. Squeezed trigger and clicked on a dud of a bullet. He went to find out who planted the dud in the cache of ammo. This story kinda sucked. The man who planted it came up with a pathetically stupid reason. However, the second story, Headhunter, is far better and more interesting. It’s basically about how dangerous information can be and how certain person can go great lengths to conceal and guard secrets. Corporate headhunter found that out the hard way along with his PI at the story’s beginning. Still recommended anyway.

good assassin manga, volume 9 of 13
Two stories of the super-cool assassin this time. The first concerns a shady but ultra-powerful corporation; the second involves a failed job due to a faulty bullet and his investigation of how it happened to come into his possession. The artwork is top-notch as always, but I found these stories to be a bit less exciting than some of those in the other collections.

"Golgo Satin!"
