We have used similar items in the past, but this one is the Cadillac of vents! It slides easily to accommodate different sizes/lengths (most of ours are 4" x 12"), is thick, sturdy, excellent quality, with super grip magnets. The magnets are so strong, that it is almost impossible to get them off the metal floor vents! I like this because the former ones we had came off easily- if you nudged them at all, they went flying. These are not going anywhere! In fact, the magnets are so big and strong that if you try to lift straight up, the magnets will slide out of the plastic sleeve and still be on the metal. The easiest way to move or remove the unit is to slide them off the edge and then lift up. I really like the depth of the vents- they cover the entire vent and really redirect the air effectively- unlike the smaller ones from a local big box store that only covered half and did not redirect the air. We bought these during a really cold snap and noticed an immediate difference in the feel of the room and how often the heat would run. Would highly recommend these.

These deflectors are a highly effective solution for redirecting air from ceiling A/C vents when the built-in louvers just don't adjust far enough. Installation was simple, and they do a good job of pushing the cold air exactly where I want it. The magnets are strong, so I have zero worries about them falling down.

I didn’t read the items full description and did not know it extended to fit the air vents we had. It does and works great for the money. The magnets seem very strong and very easy to attach and install.

The vent cover works as expected - it redirects air :-) The magnets seem to be holding it up well enough; it's been hanging for a few months now and hasn't fallen off. It was a little bit of a pain to get the vent louver handle through the slit in the product. You have to take it apart and wiggle it around a bit to get the handle to go through. If the screws holding the vent itself in place protrudes past the vent face it could cause the deflector to set a little askew. I had to tighten mine down to the screws where flush for the deflector to sit flush. Not an issue with the deflector; just poor install of the AC :-)

We have an older home the vents are not like the standard modern ones. Being able to adjust the size was great. The magnets are really strong and take some pulling to adjust the position.

Quality design and engineering, EXCEPT that neither the magnets nor the included adhesive tape actually work! It's a good thing these are sold in a two pack, as the first one shattered when the adhesive tape failed after a couple of weeks. I mounted the second one with some extra-strong foam adhesive tape that I've used previously, and it failed as well. At least it didn't shatter when it hit the ground. Now considering what to do next, which may end up being making my own deflector out of construction paper and Duck tape....

These worked well for deflecting the vents above the beds. The have very strong magnets for metal vents or can be secured to other types of vents using included double sided tape. Would highly recommend these.

Easy to install, deflects unwanted air. Installed on the ceiling. Magnets hold good. Happy with the purchase
