Jensen MCR-100 cassette recorder/player

Arrived pretty quickly from the US and intact, well packaged, working well much like a traditional old school shoebox recorder, used to have one similar with my spectrum back in the 80s, it has an American plug, which I knew about before ordering, I power it with batteries, records well and playback of speech is good and even pre recorded music sounds quite nice through the little speaker although it's a mono machine, clear hiss on recordings as it has a permanent magnet erase head but they sound pretty good nonetheless, not suitable for hifi mix tapes of course, overall satisfied, a good retro nostalgic experience

i have had many many cassette tape players + have found that the jensen mcr-100 is the best long lasting one to buy,it totally beats other brands that are on the market today

I left a longer review but didn't seem to process: it works fine- you'll need to buy an aux to aux cable and adapter plug if not in the USA. Fine for the price. The mic...what did you expect? lol...saw a review saying it wasn't good...of course it isn't. You get what you pay for, it works. If you want more pay more simple as that. Fine for making fun mixtapes.

easy to use very well made not much more to say i would recommend it

The record button would not move.

continental power plug. not much use. so unable to try

Use it for recording when playing flute so I can analyse my playing and also play duets with myself for practice. Was initially disappointed with the sound quality- ? microphone quality or machine recording quality or both. But maybe I was expecting more than realistic for the money. With that in mind it is probably good value. Easy to use and functions well. ( I wonder whether to invest in a better microphone, But if the machine isn't up to it I will be wasting money- tricky!)

I like the whole thing! It does exactly what I want it to do, play tapes! Thank you very much for your excellent service! Some cassettes need to be rewound and fast forwarded to take care of the slack. I love my dad’s old tapes. The quality is so excellent! The size is great, small enough to take anywhere!

Love this item and it works well. The only negative point is the lack of ability to rewind to a certain part of the tape as it has no possible way of moving to an exact point. If this had been included I would have given it 5 stars.

Muy bueno , le eh dado batalla. Justo lo que me imaginé.

Brought last month, so far good
