I AM KRAVEN!!
I LOVED THIS BOOK! I got it at the recommendation of a friend and am I glad I listended. The story really isn't about Peter so much. Its really almost all about Kraven, and the lengths he'll go to to prove that he is the superior to Spiderman. He's always seen Spidey as an elusive prey, as the one creature that taunted him and beat him. But what happens when Kraven realizes that behind that mask and web shooters and powers, that Peter was just a regular nerd who got tapped on the shoulder by fate? That the one man who always beat him, was just that; a man. In short, the story is awesome. The whole of it takes place at night and in the rain, but it is a solid read. All the parts with Kraven had chills sent down my spine and just kept me wanting to read more. At the end, you even feel sad for Kraven, but even also a bit of respect for him, as he finally accomplished what he always wanted. To be the best hunter ever

Feels like watchmen and spider-man had a baby
The story is spider-man at its best, and honestly my favorite serious spider-man comic as apposed to some of the fun goofy stuff out there. the way the characters are written and think two or three things at once back and forth feels like such realistic dynamic internal dialog compared to the generic slosh you generally get. a good way to explain it is in most comics thoughts seem like broad statements on what someone is doing, here people think something and try to push the thoughts away with something else but they cant escape the thoughts nagging them. its just so well done and I think thats why people feel kraven is such a cool character in this because he feels so real! the story also gets compared to batman comics a lot but to me its a lot more like watchmen with all the symbolism involved in the panels.

One of the greatest marvel stories
Kraven’s last hunt is a story that everyone should read, only taking a star off because it came a bit damaged and had a sticker on the back of it

Great read
"Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt" is a gripping and intense storyline that takes the iconic web-slinger to darker territories. The narrative brilliantly captures the psychological depth of both Spider-Man and Kraven the Hunter, presenting Kraven not just as a villain but as a complex character driven by his own demons and insecurities. The art style complements the narrative perfectly, with moody colors and dynamic panels that enhance the tension throughout the arc. The storytelling is masterfully crafted, weaving moments of introspection and action seamlessly. Kraven’s obsession with proving himself superior to Spider-Man leads to some of the most haunting scenes in Spider-Man lore, leaving the reader on the edge of their seat. What sets this story apart is its exploration of identity and the concept of what it means to be a hero. Spider-Man’s struggle during his captivity raises profound questions about power, vulnerability, and the nature of heroism. It’s a testament to the writing that even while facing defeat, Spider-Man's spirit shines through. Overall, "Kraven's Last Hunt" is an essential read for any Spider-Man fan. It’s a story that gives depth to its characters while maintaining the thrilling action that we love. Highly recommended for those looking to experience a more psychological and emotional take on the Spider-Man mythos!

A masterpiece
It's difficult to review such a masterpiece of its time. This story contains so many elements of what make us human and beast. The complex psychological web created for every character is deep and meaningful in a way that can reflect the problems felt by so many of us. The true beauty is in the ending, or finale, that leaves the reader spellbound, and for many, heart broken.

Gotta Appreciate the Classics!
Have you ever wondered what would happened if a super-villain was truly victorious over a super-hero? Are you wondering why in the world Spider-man looks like he's been buried alive on the cover? Then this story is worth wild to check out. The story is brilliantly written by Dematteis, beautifully drawn by Mike Zeck, and without a doubt one of the best Spider-man stories of all time. This graphic novel comes at a very reasonable price and collects all six issues of several Spider-man series from the 80's, each issue separately are pretty hard to come by in the present day. The only negative thing about this novel is the paper material just felt very cheap.

Good
It's a very iconic comic, one every comic book person should read. It's definitely not like most other Spider-Man stories, it's more serious, which still works. Definitely with the villains; Vermin and Kraven. It's definitely a good book everyone should read at least once

Cool art and Fun story
The story overall is great. It has great dialogues and the art is amazing. Must read for any Spiderman fan. My personal criticism : 1. In the final chapters of the story, kraven’s dialogues felt a bit repetitive. 2. The pacing of the story at someplace’s felt very slow and long. 3. The inner monologues in this can feel a bit too long and slow. Dialogue boxes in some areas can feel a bit much with the amount of text in some scenes.

Kraven’s last hunt
I think it was a very good comic that captures that 80s spider man look with a very deep and scary story telling of Kraven’s obsession with hunting . I think this is perfect for Spider man fans and the comic got here very fast and the quality was good
