They're slightly round and will not stand up.

Do these screw on to the toothpaste tube?

No. You manipulate the hole until it fits over the tube.

Does it fit the two different sizes of toothpaste tubes?

Yes it does BUT the toothpaste doesn't go back in the cap and it makes a mess. The caps are silicone so they fit both tubes.

Has anyone tried these for acrylic paint?

悪くはないが、海外製の歯磨きにつけるとネジの部分が折れたりする。接続部の負荷に耐えられないんだな。つけたら、あまり触らないことだ。あと、ネジ部、突出部が嵌合式の場合、摩擦が足りずすっぽ抜ける可能性あり。ネジの切手ある歯磨き粉をお勧めする。
