Unique book- creative story and pictures
Absolutely love the black and white pictures with the yellow accents. This is a fun creative book. Perfect for my son who is obsessed with busses and the color yellow. Made from thick high quality materials. Great for young children to enjoy.

Must Have Book
We purchased this book after having read a New York Times article on the author-illustrator. Loren Long. What an amazing book! I love the story line and the beautifully illustrated pages. Our 7 year old grandson doesn't tire of "reading" the pictures along with the story. The illustrations are loaded with subjects to talk about, along with the peaceful refrain that repeats throughout the book, "And they filled her with joy." This book fills us with joy. Thanks, Loren Long. Another great children's book.

Beautiful story and illustrations
My son (who will be 3 in September 2026) loved to proclaim whenever he sees a yellow school bus as we are out driving. I thought he might enjoy this book, but he adores it! It opens up some questions and curiosity and the illustrations are beautiful. A heartfelt story, that seems sad but is very applicable to the beauty of each stage of life!

Beautiful illustrations
This is a beautifully done book. A fun read goes through lifecycle of humans and buses. The pictures are absolutely stunning. Everyone loved it from age 2 to 6.

Linda história e ilustrações
Linda história, que nos faz refletir sobre a passagem do tempo e nosso papel no mundo/sociedade. Muito bonitas as ilustrações e arte. Meu filho de 2 anos adorou. O único ponto que não gostei é que a capa que aparece é destacável, não é a capa dura do livro e acaba sendo frágil e muito suscetível a rasgos ou a perda.

Love this book!
Absolutely love this book. It is so relatable, I mean who hasn't seen a yellow school bus?! The story tells about the changes the bus goes through which is a great discussion starter for children on what other things they have seen change. It is so lovely that the Yellow Bus finds joy in each new change. Such a positive message.
