My grandchildren love this!
I loved this as a child and was delighted when Ladybird brought out a retro edition just like I remember. These are great books for children and my grandchildren adore the book, the story and especially the illustrations. Big bad wolf is a real favourite. They are (nearly) three and four and never tire of Grandad reading it to them, it is so regularly requested (demanded!) that even grandad is getting a little tired of the frequency. I even have to draw the big bad wolf for them regularly, that 45 year old A level Art is finally coming good.... Clearly a good investment though. A perennial favourite.

Purchased to use as an introduction to a theme for a Sunday Morning Church Service. Loved the Ladybird books as a child especially th biblical ones

Nostalgic blast from my past for my Grandchildren
What can I say? Just love the old editions from my childhood, the artwork is sublime and the pages even feel different. Have started to collect the old editions for my Grandchildren. Something for us to read together at Storytime when they visit and eventually will help with learning to read too.

We bought this book for our daughter to read to our grandson, we wanted the original ladybird book because it brings back our own childhood memories. It is so nice. We will be looking for more of these classics.

WONDERFUL REISSUE OF AN OLDER STYLE
This reissue is a bit of wonderful nostalgia for those who grew up reading Ladybird books and can't really come to terms with the new styles of illustrations. The binding is good and the illustrations are lovely. I intend to buy most of the reissues for my toddler because I prefer them to the newer editions.
