Stretching is an important part of unfreezing shoulder and this is a brilliant aid in that endeavour. Sitting in a chair with a portable table in front of me with an iPad streaming Netflix, Prime Video or TV means I can exercise using this piece of kit and hold positions for a while without getting bored. The equipment small, simple, nicely made, lightweight, easy to use end I believe will be essential in gaining back range of shoulder movement. A modification I may be inclined to make in an update would be to have regular bar handle rather than half oval discs but it’s a small point and there may be good reason for the discs. Five stars given without hesitation! UPDATE: using several times a day for a few minutes each time to stretch and improve the mobility of my shoulder. Just found that using in a pedalling motion as a bicycle for my arms helps and I’ve introduced different movements by leaning to one side then the other and gently swinging my arms from side to side while they are in an elevated position all helps. I could not do any of if without this little piece of equipment.

I was advised to do pulley exercises when I injured my arm and shoulder. I’ve found it effective in gently getting movement back to a frozen shoulder. It’s very reasonably priced and easy to set up over a door, no tools required.

I've broken my shoulder and one of these were recommended by my physio. It's a very simple item, but it's brilliant. There are a number of exercises you can do with this, pulling arm up forwards, sideways, aiding moving the arm up behind you. Comes with a sheet of different exercises you can do. I'm using it for my broken shoulder recovery and it's been a godsend.

I have frozen shoulder so I’m having physio & hydrotherapy at the hospital. It was actually my physio who recommended this item to me, she showed me which one to order on Amazon. Great service, it arrived the next day, it’s very well made, easy to put up, doesn’t mark your doors in anyway & its very comfortable to work with the handles are lovely. I can’t recommend this product high enough, it’s fabulous & the customer after care is great, I was sent an email to check everything was alright & a downloadable pdf with exercises to do with it, which once my physio allows I will be doing. Great value for money & a great product, very well made, will be checking out what other products they have that might help my shoulder.

This very affordable arm pully was a recommended by my Physiotherapist to rehabilitate a trauma which dislocated my shoulder and affected my spine. The great design, with built in hook to attach to door, is perfect for travelling and home. Exercises can be found online for those who are not following Physio instructions. Superb for loosening a tight neck too. I love it!

Now.. the only problem with this exerciser was it would have been a little dangerous as it never stayed over the door .. I eventually got my son to put a nail in the top of the door keeping it stable and safe .. the price was reasonable but please remember to stabilise it better .. true review nanna j x

I bought this too aide recovery following a shoulder operation. My friend had it after me to help her regain movement following a stroke. Highly recommended this piece of kit - both of our recoveries would not have had such great outcomes without this.
