GeeekPi Raspberry Pi 5 Aluminum Case with Official Active Cooler, Support PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD Shield Top X1001 / X1003 / X1000 / N04 / N05

As soon as I opened the box I was super impressed with the housing, it is made of a lightweight strong alloy. The machining is perfect, as your pi slots right in place with the screws provided. All aspects of the pi are accessible as necessary. Fitting the fan is quick and very easy given the instructions. At first I wanted to leave the top off the case so I could see the fan from above, as the lid appeared opaque at first glance. I then realised it had a protective layer to peel off, to my delight, the top was transparent, meaning it is protective and I'm able to set inside. Brilliantly designed product.

Mostly metal apart from the top lid. Good quality, precision construction. Only let down is the use of hex screws for the lid requiring a tiny Allen key (supplied), whereas the rest where standard Philips screws. A little fiddly to install, but to be expected with something of this size. I needed this Pi to be run with Power over Ethernet - the enclosure was plenty big enough to house the RPi5 with an installed "Waveshare PCIe To M.2 HAT+ Adapter With PoE for Raspberry Pi 5" and still plenty of clearance for air movement (see attached picture).

I like it but, The plastic lid let's it down. if you must use plastic for the lid why not make it transparent? Built now. The case is a nice silver grey aluminum metal. And when put together has a nice weight to it. Comes with 2 rubber strips for the base, these cover the screws, so I chose not to use them & found alternative. The screws are tiny, but you do get spares. I also bought the NVMe board that goes with this and it all fits nice. Don't think you could mount this on the back of the monitor though? I would have preferred a metal top though.

This case goes together with absolute class!! It feels great and holds the pi board very well, all the port holes are perfectly lined up and nothing fails to please. Instructions were a bit small but figured the installation pretty easy, nearly went mad wondering where the black panel was but was just coated in a removable liner to prevent scratches which was easily removed.

Nice case, lots of room. Feel like there is plenty of space for air to move about. I have the AI hat on it as well.

Its a bit fidley to fit the Pi in the case, the instructions could be better. That said when you get it to fit its a very good and spacious case. Nothing is obscured if you just use the case. I fitted a Geekworm X1001 SSD top card, SSD and top Heatsink to mine and it still fitted with room to spare in the case. The SSD option slightly obscures the fan, but there is so much room and vemtilation in the case that it does not hamper cooling.

Works a treat and fits like a glove

Top case, sauber gearbeitet, Lüfter leider Müll. Ich denke schon, dass es wirklich das Original ist. Ein Drittanbieter Lüfter war noch schneller hinüber. Der hier ist nach wenigen Monaten leider auch schon lauter geworden. Kein Stern Abzug, weil er noch laüft und das Gehäuse selbst top ist. Passt sogar eine Pin-Leisten-Verlängerung und ein nvme+poe Hat mit rein. (Siehe Bild, man beachte, dass die Pins genau unter der Rauchplastikabdeckung sind.) Achtung: Wie auf dem Bild zu sehen, habe ich die Füße auf den Deckel geklaut, weil ich auf dem Kopf 51, statt 55 Grad "richtigherum" messe (Raumtemp 25 Grad)

Buon case, bello robusto ma non precisissimo nelle aperture per i connettori, anche se si riescono ad usare benissimo.

Muy cómoda y divertida de ensamblar. Las instrucciones son tan escuetas que hay que adivinar el uso de los tornillos y espaciadores. Pero queda muy bien y refrigera correctamente. La construcción parece de buena calidad. La recomiendo.
