Comfort!
These are great calm water fins; low roller surf, pool trainers, short-trip snorkeling. They won't float and they won't displace enough water for strong propulsion. Absolutely wonderful starter kicks for young people, rehabbers or anybody getting back in the water. A pro or a jock won't want something so midrange and supple. I'm 5'5", 72 yrs, 260 lbs with a lot of leg, wrist, hand and spine surgeries; it's hard to bend and reach my big fat size 10-wide feet, so I put these on in the water against the side of the pool like slippers, then I bend head underwater to tighten the straps. These are absolutely wonderful. You can pull them tight as hell over wide swollen feet and they don't hurt. The release tab is a pain, though. Getting them off wasn't very well thought out, and barely do-able with the same contortions: The thing is, it CAN be done. That makes these attractive short fins an exceptional value. Shoe flips, floating and hard rubber, are almost impossible for those with spinal injuries and knee replacements, and non-adjustable open-heel types give you friction sores and hurt like hell, but this adjustable strap is supple, strong, very well configured, and awesome pulled tight. They did a great design job with how it fits on the back of your tendon...think of that if you're diabetic. No scuba socks! Wooohooo!

Adventure time!
Living in Hawaii, I snorkel... A lot. Like, twice a month and I don't even live near a beach. I also vacation on the other islands (why go anywhere else?!) and like to bring my gear. These flippahs are perfect for traveling, packing into a beach bag, and they're easy to put on and strap up whilst floating. I usually notch them again after a few meters of flippering but don't have to readjust after that. And man, they have power for such little fins! (Might also be my powerlifting legs, I dunno). I love the color (got the purple because 💜) and the quality is awesome. I've had them for almost 5 years and the only scratches are from stumbling out of the water onto lava rocks, with fins in hand😬. Would buy again. For sure.

Good product with medium performance
Those fins are great for travel, swimming pool training, snorkeling in calm ocean waters for a younger or older individual. A strong middle age man will find those a little weak for sport fishing , in rough water, where you rely 100% on leg power for propulsion (arm holding goody bags and spearfishing accessories) The fins are flexible and not as likely to give you leg cramps as scuba diving fins which are typically stiffer. The fit and comfort is adequate, barefoot and well as with sole-less booties. I am an older diver with 65 years diving experience and recently snorkeled for game in the colder waters of the northern pacific coast of the USA . The waves were small 3 to 5 feet in a semi protected cove with moderate surge. The fins gave me adequate power without any cramping, (which is why I purchased them in the first place ) . So in conclusion, those fins work fine for low to moderate snorkeling conditions. For the more challenging environment find one more catered to your ability and fitness level. Happy snorkeling!

Tricky heel clasp, but better than too easy that it falls off.
Excellent quality. The heel strap is a bit tricky to get open, but this can be appreciated since one would not like to lose a flipper while in use. Purchased for use in a Physical Therapy Clinic to encourage increased foot clearance with gait and stepping and works great!

Compact and Comfortable: Perfect Travel Snorkel Fins for Any Adventure!
I recently purchased the CAPAS Snorkel Fins, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my snorkeling gear. As an avid traveler, I needed fins that were compact yet effective, and these did not disappoint. ### Design and Comfort The design of the CAPAS fins is sleek and modern. They are short and lightweight, making them perfect for travel. The adjustable strap ensures a snug fit, accommodating various foot sizes. I found the foot pocket to be soft and comfortable, even after long snorkeling sessions. ### Performance In the water, the fins provide excellent propulsion without requiring excessive effort. Their compact size allows for easy maneuvering in tight spots, making them ideal for exploring coral reefs or navigating through rocky areas. Despite their smaller size, they don’t compromise on power, providing a smooth and efficient swim. ### Portability One of the best features of these fins is their portability. They easily fit into my carry-on luggage, and the included mesh bag is a nice touch for storage and transport. This makes them perfect for spontaneous snorkeling trips. ### Durability After several uses, the fins have held up well. The materials feel sturdy, and the construction is robust, ensuring longevity. I’ve used them in both saltwater and freshwater, and they show no signs of wear or degradation. ### Value for Money Given their affordable price point, these fins offer exceptional value. They perform on par with more expensive models, making them a great choice for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. ### Conclusion Overall, I highly recommend the CAPAS Snorkel Fins. They’re comfortable, portable, and provide excellent performance in the water. Whether you’re an occasional snorkeler or a seasoned diver, these fins are a worthwhile investment.

Great for slower top-water snorkeling, NOT for diving down.
I love these fins for snorkeling, but when I try to dive down it doesn't give me quite enough push to stay down. I am a larger girl so more body fat=more buoyant so I know thats part of the problem, but I will go back to my longer fins for the diving part. The straps are comfortable and they stay on. I do highly recommend them!

Hard to rate... see explanation below
I loved the idea of these short fins! I purchased them for "traveling" so they would fit in a suitcase and be more convenient when carrying them around on the beach for snorkeling. They met that goal! (5 star) I am use to using Atomic split fins or other normal size (longer) fins for snorkeling. These shorties, as i call them, do work BUT not as good as normal size fins! It takes much more leg work to propel yourself through the water and at times when i was in stronger current or choppy water, i sometimes felt i wasn't making much progress. (2-3 stars). The energy i used to propel myself forward caused me to have to stop and rest more often and i am very experienced. I had first timers with me and i am glad i brought the normal size fins and had my inexperienced family use those. Normal fins propel you through the water faster with less energy spent. I would NOT recommend short fins for unexperienced people in any type of current/choppy water. I don't feel it wound be an enjoyable experience and in my opinion it is not safe if in current/choppy water. Honestly, even in calmer waters, it still takes double the kicking to propel yourself through the water when compared to normal size fin (2-3 stars). I was needing to supply 4 people with full snorkel gear (that's alot to lug around) so i am still glad i bought these shorties. They are super easy packing, carrying, storing (5 Star). But i do think if you only have to carry around 1 set for yourself, normal size is still the way to go. Overall, i think i would give them a 3star but not sure if that is fair because they are shorties, and they just aren't going to work like normal size fins
