Flashback is great
Just started my career as an ER nurse and I suck at IVs, so I got this just for some extra practice at home, definitely ideal perfect veins which we don't see a lot in the ER, BUT i get flashback, and its slightly similar to a real arm Like the pop feeling when it goes into the vein and then smoothness, skins is obviously a little rubbery but still really good for the price. Its really excellent practice if youre still just working on the form and setting it all up and going at your own pace without having to test it first on real people, so really nice!

Im so in love with my practice kit
This was perfect. I took it to my medical assistant class and the students loved it and even the teacher asked for the information so that she can buy some kits fir class room use. The are feels very real and you can see and find the veins easy. This is great for me to practice with since im in medical assistant school and also starting phlebotomy class next week.

Received as advertised
I'll start with...I haven't actually used it yet, so I can't speak for functionality. If I don't add to this review later, assume it functioned as advertised. When I opened the blue bag everything was bagged as you see now plus there was a bag over the arm. I opened everything to check that I received everything and that it was in good condition. It was yes to both. The arm definitely has a smell from the materials used, so I have that airing out today. It's strong, but not overwhelming. The arm itself is pretty cool, and I'm excited to start using it. You can see from the last picture that you really can pinch some. It's got a good weight. The material of the arm isn't super slick, so that should help keep it from sliding around. The veins are visible and palpable. You can access back of hand, outer wrist, inner forearm, and antecubital. The supplies are what's advertised. I didn't choose this because of those. I have specifics that my class is learning with. It is nice to have, though, as it gives me the chance to practice with different materials. I plan on playing tomorrow, so I'll update if it just doesn't work like it should. For now, I'd totally recommend for anyone needing practice accessing veins.

"Blood" does not flow through arm
This did not work for me! It was more for IV practice and not phlebotomy. The "blood" did not flow when you inserted needle. There was no hub to insert the vacutainer, or needle. It costs way to much for something that does not work! The arm quality was good, but the other products, were very cheap and flimsy. The needles bent, when trying to insert. The "blood" would not release into the vacutainer, but would drip out of the arm after removing the needle. Unless I was sent a faulty arm, I would not recommend purchasing this product.

Something’s to keep in mind.
Was missing a few items and the arm was leaking out the side with the tubes going in it. The “blood” was running out the veins into the vials like drips and you couldn’t keep the vials closed cause of the air it needed to let the “blood” come out.
