Dye Liquid 8oz-Sage Green

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with a dye product I recently purchased. The product in question was advertised as sage green, which is exactly the colour I was hoping to achieve on a dress I planned to dye. However, after following the instructions meticulously, the dye turned my dress an unexpected and entirely unwanted denim blue. Not only is this far from the sage green I was aiming for, but it has also ruined the dress, which is now completely unusable for the intended purpose. I am extremely disappointed with this result, especially given that I trusted your brand to provide a quality product. The incorrect dye has not only cost me the dress but has also wasted my time and effort. I would appreciate it if you could address this issue promptly. I kindly request a full refund for the faulty dye product and compensation for the ruined dress. Please advise on the next steps to resolve this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. This product is brilliant, easy to use and came out the exact shade i wanted.will use again when need too

Dye used on cotton & it turned out a grey denim colour. Still very nice but not true to colour on the bottle . Instructions say don’t use it on certain materials which if fair enough but disappointed that it wasn’t green

I've used a fair few Rit dye in the past - to dye clothes / fabric etc. This time however I chose the sage and the pink fuschia coloured dye to dye some pre made bows for Christmas. The Fuschia worked and gave the desired effect - the sage was pointless. I did everything the same way as the fuschia and even left this over night for a darker dye and instead the bows came out the same colour they went in. So so so disappointing as this isn't a cheap dye what so ever. Stear clear of this colour UNLESS your dying a cotton or natural fabric. The only reason I get rit over dylon is for it's use with synthetic fabric.... this was the biggest let down.

This worked really well and dyed the whole garment fully without faded areas. Easy to use and full instructions provided. Final colour was darker than imagined but did a good job overall.

Amazing colour saturation, it worked perfectly on two test garments and sadly didn't take on the third garment of the same material that was actually needed in sage 😂

Awesome dye, the color is more vibrant than I expected Also the dye show purple and can dye your fabric purple if you don't follow the instructions

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5 I used Rit Dye in Sage on an expensive formal dress that was originally pure white, expecting it to turn a soft sage green as advertised. Instead, the dye left my dress with obvious pink tones, completely changing the appearance of the garment. This wasn’t a cheap item or a practice piece—it was a costly dress purchased for a special occasion. I followed the dye instructions carefully and chose the Sage colour specifically because I needed a subtle green shade. The end result looked nothing like sage and effectively ruined the dress for its intended purpose. What is most disappointing is that once a dress has been dyed incorrectly, there is very little that can be done to restore it to its original condition. A dress that was perfectly wearable before is now unusable for the event I bought it for, resulting in a significant financial loss on top of the cost of the dye itself. I understand that dye results can vary depending on fabric content, but a Sage dye producing pink tones on a pure white dress was completely unexpected. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this colour for an important garment, especially if the item is expensive or needed for a specific event.
