Devil May Cry HD Collection (PS4)

The HD collection comprises of Dmc1, 2 and 3 all HD remastered to play on the previous and modern gen consoles all to a clearer picture of graphics then first released. What you didn't know is that Dmc1 was originally resi 4 but they deviated from the original concept and the original resi 4 was turned into a new franchise that we now know as DMC. It was a good call because Dmc is one of the critically acclaimed series of capcom games, it's got some similar gameplay to resi where you solve puzzles but rather then a slow paced horror game it's a fast paced shooter as you can utilise dantes sword and guns all at the same time and move him acrobaticly away from enemy attacks, dealing with demons of another realm. This collection includes all 3 of those classic games and they all have various changes as they progress through the story like Dmc 2 you can choose Dante or a woman guardian of a village and you can run up walls and various skills added. It's a great collection for a excellent price. Well worth the time.

As an avid Devil May Cry fan, I was so happy when Capcom decided to release the first three Devil May Cry games on the PS3 some time back. What I didn't expect was that they would re-release the three games onto the PS4 console. And I'm glad they did, because it didn't take me long to pre-order this. There really is no need to delve too much into the games, because as most may know these first three games were originally on the PS2. Here's a short summary of each game: Devil May Cry - The first and still the best Devil May Cry game in my opinion. I absolutely love this game, it was the game that influenced me to buy the PS2 back in the day. Devil May Cry 2 - This tends to be the most disappointing of all DMC games, but in all honesty its not really that bad and in my opinion, I would rather play this game than the recent PS4 DMC game (you know, the one where Dante looks like a punk). Devil May Cry 3 - A return to form, if you love the first game, you will absolutely adore this third game. Action packed all the way and it gives you the special edition, so you can play as Dante's brother Virgil. For me, this is the perfect nostalgia trilogy and one which I will play continuously for a long while before I even begin to play another game.

Three great games, very nostalgic playing with the graphics nicely done up. Still has a great story line

The only downside to this is the old tech dynamics. Had it on PS3. 3 of the best executed games ever, bar none, in a bargain collection. İn my backlog of games.

I love this game and capcom games in general. 100% recommend have enjoyed it so much so far!!

Only issue was the version that came is appears to be the US Version of the game and has a different....inferior....cover. Still works with European PS4/PS5

Tried the ps3 versions on ps premium and wow glad i did these games are horrendous

I played the original games on PS2 when I was younger, so I absolutely had to buy the HD Collection. It was a great excuse to play them all again and they look fantastic. I was especially excited to play DMC3 again.
