2017 Ford Escape Owners, You Need These!
I have been dealing with the poorly designed factory retainers for the underbody shields on my 2017 Ford Escape for the longest time. The shields will get loose and rattle in the high winds of North Dakota and interstate travel got to be tiring listening to the shields flap and rattle under the vehicle for hours.I had replaced the retainers with the original Ford clips that are a press style fitting but they would end up failing like the originals over time. Those retainers push over a small post that is threaded but I never could find a nut to match the thread pitch.I bought these after seeing someone suggest using the red clips and threading them on to retain the shields. This has worked perfectly and I can finally drive without needing to drown out the noise of the stupid flapping shields! Worth every penny.

Works fine.
This kit worked fine. Few things. The screws are T30. Because of their coating you might be tempted to use T27. Don’t. Didn’t need to use any of the nylon screw holders don’t seem as nice as factory but will work just fine. Washers could be stronger but again they work fine. Overall a good kit.

Under Tray Bolts: Fits 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS
