Impressive!!
These headphones are my new favorite! Here is a breakdown of my thoughts: Sound: To get the top priority out of the way, the sound is superb full stop! I would describe it as the treble of a traditional open-back headphone, but with the bass of a very well tuned closed back. I would easily mix with these as well as enjoy music and TV shows. Build: Very well built. There is a bit of standard plastic, but it is mixed with proper metal components that seem very stiff and durable. It is great to see how many of the components seem to be easy to disassemble with the proper tools, and the pads are very easy to change out! The only catiounary thing is that I'm not sure how long the earpads and headband pleather will last, but as stated, they seem to be easy to change out if they start flaking. Overall, it seems it will last a long time! Comfort: These headphones are super light! The headband and earcups are a super soft pleather material that feel super nice on head. I did have to bend the headphones a bit to get them to sit just right, but once I did that, they really do seem to float. These are definently cans you could wear a long time! Accessories: These headphones don't come with much, just the cable and a carrying bag. The bag is my least favorite thing about the package. It feels incredibly cheap on the outside and overall pretty gross. The inside lining is ok so it's not unusable, but regardless it's noteworthy. However, the cable provided is super nice with it's braided sleeve and metal tips. Amazingly, it has a good built in microphone with a play/pause button which is great! The cable also comes with a quarter inch adapter in the box which is a nice touch. Summary: Overall, these headphones impress in sound, build quality, and comfort, though the accessories could use some improvement. I would recommend these to literally everyone, doesn't matter who! Highly recommend!

Extraordinary headphones for the price.
This is an impressive headphone. The build quality is very good. Made of good quality plastic and metal. The head strap and yoke are stainless steel. The open back cups are plastic with an attractive metal grill. The ear pads are very soft and comfortable and the pressure is about right. I can wear these easy for hours. The cord is detachable. It's supple with a cloth covering. The jacks are aluminum with an attractive dark blue finish. The cord has an inline mic (not tried it yet.) The sound is extraordinary. Having a solid warm presence throughout the range with an excellent base. The clarity and detail are excellent, the placement of instruments is very good. The soundstage is good. I heard details in music that even my HiFimans didn't show me. These have already become my favorite headphones to listen to in the short time I've used them. Only negative is the yolks don't rotate which has not been a problem for me. To wrap it up, they are simply extraordinary. Sonically, they are comparable to headphones costing hundreds of dollars more. The build quality is good to very good and beyond what you usually get in this price range. There's nothing better in this price range to best of my knowledge. Get them if you can. You will not be disappointed.

Good to Great Budget Closed Back Over Ear Headphones, very comfortable.
Oh FiiO, these are nice, but they could have been great. let me explain, coming from a budget headphone nerd of 20+ years (started with DJ'ing and Studio headphones in the 90's and moved into < $500 "hifi" / "audiophile" headphones in 2020) The Good: - the comfort, certainly not heavy, and not too light - just right, Goldilocks. Ear pads softness are reminiscent of the takstar pro 82's protein pleather, very nice semi hybrid pad (cloth interior). - some of the build is nice metal, and seems sturdy (more on the plastic later) - the dynamic range is pretty good, no available frequency response graphs, but who needs those right? trust your ears. - price point is excellent for those starting out in the hobby and looking for a different flavor in the ever competitive sub $100 range - styling is fairly attractive - very well made OE cable. not common for this price range. probably the best i've seen. but i'll still upgrade, because thats just what we do. inputs are dual end, trs into ea cup. trrs on device end because of microphone. will work with balanced cables for your balanced dac/amp 4.4 connector. The ... not so bad, but not good either. - plastic of cup - its cheap. not 'omg i'm going to break this' cheap. but its noticeably not great. there's a hollow sound when handling that I don't get from any of my other headphones, granted most of them are around $100-$200. but that hollowness is like nails on a chalkboard to me. The non functional grille is a nice metal over lay, but the cup itself is yuck. I believe the micro phonics from the cable is somehow amplified by this type of plastic. not a deal breaker, just a noticeable annoyance every time i hold it.. once it is on my head, i can live with it. - oh yeah, micro phonics... the cable has it... and so do many other cables. as nice as it is, its just the result of the fabric covering, rubbing against my pretentious mock neck 'handle with care' sweaters.. and no buffer at the input jack. oh.. yeah.. that - input jack into the cups are flush plastic holes... probably saved a good amount of cost there... i didnt realize that metal protruding connectors were a luxury, but now i do. The SOuNd - subjective right? - i found the sound stage to be decent for closed backs (dont let the grille fool you, these are vented/ported, but definitely closed).. not too narrow, like right in my frontal lobe, but like if i had my studio monitors maybe two feet from my face - instrument separation is good, not great... - seems to be a drop somewhere in the lower mids or high lows that is noticeable on my acoustic test tracks. i would say the low end bass is nice, except that when i tested on some EDM, where bass is expected to shine, it didnt... 70's acoustic rock is where i'd say these headphones are comfortable at. well mixed or remastered tracks will probably fare better than the vinyl mixes. track test list: Jim Croce - Time in a Bottle, Kenny Rodgers - the gambler, Bread - I want to make it with you, The Internet - Hold On, Hippie Sabotage - Devil Eyes, Eva Cassidy - Over the Rainbow and many others, Khalid - Young Dumb Broke, England Dan and .... the other guy - i really want to see you tonight, Tracy Chapman - the promise, some audiophile spanish guitar stuff, Rihanna - Stay, 311- Amber, Sublime - Santeria, Taste of Honey - Sukiyaki remaster, Raekwon - Incarcerated Scarfaces, Average White Band - Atlantic Avenue, Roy Hamilton - you can have her.... Verdict? - if you have a bigger budget, dont bother. you'll be disappointed, but for the <$100 crowd these are a nice-ish build that are a different experience. Pretty sure the company didn't aim for studio quality neutral toned purist pleasers, nor 1hz-100khz fanatics. these are tuned (for what genre, i don't know) and do okay. If these were my FIRST pair of non big box electronics store headphones, i'd be very happy. and even though they aren't, i'm still decently satisfied and will probably shelf queen these for at least a little while. :)

Insane value for the price
Pros >Fully over-ear and very comfortable even on my giant head >Completely detachable cable which is shockingly uncommon in the budget headphone space >So far I've had no problem with heat buildup >Sound is good on all technical fronts; imaging, sound stage, and clarity are all competent and, for the price, pretty damn good Cons >Ear cups do not swivel, which while not being a problem for me, can potentially hinder you comfort >Very bass heavy in a way that I think is done tastefully but may not be your desired sound >I'm definitely hearing some slight rattle noise somewhere. I think its from where the cable connects to the ear cups but can't be sure >very big, not particularly portable, and I feel if you stuffed it in a very full backpack it may come out misshapen Despite some of the minor issues the fact you can get a competent pair of full size headphones for this price kinda out weighs any small negatives I have and I fully recommend them.

Love them!!!
I bought these mainly because of the price. I didn't expect much and didn't have high expectations for them...but they blew me away. First is the build. They aren't the most sturdy headphones out there, but they are very well made and look more expensive than they are. They are quite light and comfortable. Next and most importantly is the sound. Again I didn't expect much and was expecting them to sound like cheap headphones, well the absolutely DO NOT, they sound great. I have heard many different headphones that costs many many times more than these and these sound just as good as a lot of them, no joke they do! The bass is good and punchy with good sub bass rumble. It's got a good quantity of bass without being too much. The bass isn't the tightest, but most of the time it's well composed. The mids are smooth and slightly behind the rest, but it definitely keeps you engaged. The upper mids are not shouty and will not fatigue you. The highs roll of but there is still more than enough sparkle and air in the treble to pull out details. The stage and imaging are both above average and for a cheap closed back headphone, it's down right amazing. Detail retrieval is also above average. Overall this is a great sounding headphone regardless of it's price, they punch way above their weight class. At this price, they are well worth a try for anyone looking for a good set of headphones.

Just buy these
I saw Z Reviews on these being the replacement for his cheap headphones recommendations. Saying these beat out some $500 headphones. For less than $100 I had to give them a try and now I'm upset. Not because these are bad, but because Z was correct. I'm judging/questioning my other headphones because of these. They're just amazing cans for the price and I've found myself rediscovering my music list all over again. Not a bad problem to have honestly. You're just left questioning your life choices due to the price point these have. Once again, not a bad problem to have. I'll list my complaints though before we go too far. The ear cups are a bit shallow for me and after about 1+hour my ears start to hurt where they contact the inside of the headphones. I will probably mod these with different pads to fix this. In the meantime its worth the pain for the listening experience with these. Fiio/Jade could of thought of a better aria to plug in the cables at the ear cups, as I do bump these with my shoulders from time to time where the cables plug into the cans. I also wouldn't mind if they were constructed with less plastics. Also a swivel design for the cups would be nice, but as shown in other reviews, you can bend these to fix the swivel issue. And that's it. Those are my complaints. It's mainly me nit picking little things and wanting a metal design. I have nothing bad to say about the audio quality these pump out. As far as the audio goes, you are getting way more than $70 in terms of accuracy, imaging, separation, staging, all the buzz words used to review headphones, these perform WAY past their price point. For that, I have nothing bad to say about the audio experience with these. Just buy them and plug them into a good signal source and melt away. I hope in the future Fiio/Jade creates a redesign of these with better materials and ergonomics. I'd happily buy them again to relocate the cable plugins and make a full metal version. Just my 2cents though. Like I said earlier, the sound quality from these headphones are amazing. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps with your purchasing choice.

not bad sound, but too small for me
the sound wasn't too bad, and the build quality was nice but i ended up returning them due to the earpads being too small and not deep enough, in result my ears pressed against the inside causing pain
