MARATHON Atomic Full Calendar Clock with Extra Large Digits Indoor and Outdoor Temperature

The wall clock comes extremely well packaged and was very simple to setup. Insert several batteries and the clock is ready to go. There is really no setup except deciding where to place your clock. The clock is close to perfect if you want an easy to read clock that displays time, date, and temperature inside and out. It's very thin and easily wall mountable or can be placed on a flat surface against a wall. The numbers are large enough to read at great distances. The display is absolutely perfect and can be seen up to 20-30 feet away. It also can be placed on a desk if facing a wall. It seem like an outstanding wall clock and if it lasts and continues to provide accurate time is a superb purchase, Overall, it is well worth the asking price and I'm glad I bought it.

This is my favorite clock of my favorite brand Atomic Clock! I have multiple at home, and they all sync up to the same exterior Temp sensor which is nice! If you are patient, it is totally Self-Adjusting(after battery changes/initial setup/daylight saving time…) At my cabin in the Mountains I do have to move it temporarily near a window to align with the Satellites for the initial synchronization. Only Con is it’s not idiot-proof/impact proof! Several have been knocked off the wall and have fallen 6-20ft and Not survived! Depending on battery quality they last 9-12months in the clock and several years in the remote sensor. *YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH MARATHON*

Bought clock for my mom who is getting forgetful(I didn’t tell her that Is why I bought it for her) and she has trouble remembering what day it is. She is also very picky about The decor in her house, but she loves it! The clock did not automatically sync overnight so I had to hit the manual sync button the next day and it was able to sync correctly and is working like a charm since! I would recommend this product as the digits are very easy to read and my mom really likes how it looks!

I've been using La Cross atomic clocks for years, but needed to replace one and they don't have one like this. The only thing I miss on this clock is an indoor humidity display. Setup was decent and the clock synchronized with Colorado the first day of use. There was a minor problem with setting the time zone, but I worked around that. I've only had this clock for a few days now and I'll be sure and update this review if necessary in the future. I would have rated it a "5" except for lack of humidity display and the problem with setting the time zone.

Love this clock but had a difficult time getting it set up. After spending time fiddling with it and losing, I gave up and called customer support who got me going quickly. The numbers are large, well contrasted, and easy to read. It does take 24 hours to reset itself to the time change, but it does happen so don't worry, just wait.

This clock replaces a LaCrosse model with same capabilities. Why? After replacing the outdoor temperature unit 4 times over as many years, I refused to waste another dime on the LaCrosse unit. The Marathon's cost is significantly more money, but if it performs as well as it has so far, it is well worth the additional cost to me. The Marathon actually tells me it is getting a signal from WWVB (national time standard broadcast used to synchronize the clock's time, etc). The LaCrosse did not. And that one was rare to sync up the time change when it happened - took 4-5 days on some occasions, but most times I gave up after giving it a week. I love the HUGE display, and just bought a slightly different model for my garage - yup, I'm that impressed!

I had an atomic wall clock I bought at Costco. It lasted for 15+ years. I bought this one in May of 2018. It was a nice clock with clear easily readable data. But less than a year later it was losing minutes so I'd have to manually reset it regularly. Now I do live in Hawaii so it can't connect for automatic updates -- but my old atomic clock kept time once manually set. After a couple years the outdoor sensor stopped working. Then the indoor one. The last time I tried to reset it I could only reset the time -- the date was stuck. Then it just died. After 4 years. I expect more value for my money.

I bought this in order to have a clock with easy to read numbers in a large room. It fills that requirement very well. The location I chose for it might have interfered with the time setting radio signal, but it did not. The Update was successfully completed on the first night. The remote temperature sensor works very well, from inside the house with the probe run outside through a window. Although it's close to the house, it's pretty accurate and since it's on the north side of the house it does not get direct sunlight. I recommend this product.

No Dislikes, The Marathon Slim Jumbo Wall Clock Works Just Fine. This is perfect size for me to use in my Garage (Shop). Very easy to read (Clean, Clear and Bright.) I like the weekday and month Display (Wednesday Oct/30) easy to understand and you know it's Wednesday Oct/30th, Instead of a bunch of numbers to look at. The indoor/outdoor temperature Display works great, Gives you the temperature Inside the Garage and the Outside Temperature. Very Easy to set up Just press Mode for 3-seconds and use the up/down button on the back, set your location, Year ,Time, Day, Month, C/F' and your done. Plug your prob into the Temperature transmitter, press transmit and C/F' place outside and your good to go. Also has an Alarm, This Wall Clock is So Perfect for me and my shop. 5-Star for this one...

This watch is the really great for minimalistic spaces. I put it in my living room wall and it looks amazing. It took it a little bit to synchronize the time and date but it did it successfully. My house’s language is Spanish and I am using it in that language and, sincerely, that feels great. Regarding that is my only concern, the words “indoor” and “outdoor” appear in English and for a CA100 clock from an 80-year company it is a thing that shouldn’t be happening, but that’s ok, I still give you 5 stars because I am very pleased with the great quality and the look. I have to say that the video with the Marathon brand history was what caught me and made me buy it, very good marketing.

1. It says designed in Canada, made in China. It should also say, instructions are written by someone who doesn't speak or write english. 2. I have tried to follow their instructions and the only one that works is to set the clock manually. The point of buying this was auto set and it doesn't work. I get the flashing signal meaning (according to instructions) I am received the signal. But it never successfully receives the signal. I can remember having a clock radio (50 years ago) - you plugged it in and it set up the time/date with zero intervention. 50 years later, more complicated and doesn't work.

This replaces a 20 year old model similar to this because outdoor sensor was erratic. Like the large digits. Hope this lasts equally as long. Wish there was some way to backlight this without dramatically affecting battery life. Currently the battery easily lasts more than a year

Large display, easy to read the information, accurate temperature gauges, however, it has never been able to connect to the signal for the atomic clock setting. I am in a rural area between Hamilton and Cambridge, about 400km from the Ottawa area transmitter. It loses about 5 seconds per week, so I have to manually reset it once in a while.
