I truly did not even know that these were a thing but wow, what a useful thing. We were trying to hang lights out on our deck area, but there are no outlets outside. We debated battery powered, but those don’t last long and are a hassle to remember to charge. We were looking for an alternative and found this. We have an outdoor light that we don’t even really use, so we just unscrewed the bulb and screwed this in its place. It works great and we haven’t had any issues with it. Let’s us turn our lights on and off with the light switch too which is nice. It was easy to install and seems sturdy and safe. It puts off a great amount of light and allowed us to use the adapter to plug out hanging lights in.

Good thing ordered these, because couldn’t find my old one! Work great! Placed in light fixture outside apartment door. The light fixture was moved right next to little dining room area, and the auto light keeps me up all night! Removed fixture cover and replace with this instead. Since it’s in a semi covered area, it is safe from the elements. Fits perfectly in socket, and so easy to use! Hooked up Christmas lights, and will be able to use whenever need for ambient outdoor lighting, and decorating whims!

Need for a temporary outlet. Works fine. Mine did not have the ground in the outlet, thankfully I did not need it.

Very easy to plug-and-play, lovely to use. No complaints from us! We use them for mostly plugging in cameras.
