My writing looks at it’s very best when I write with this extra broad ballpoint. I always keep a box of these pens in my desk. When I start a new job I take a box to share so my new colleagues don’t pinch mine ! If I was marooned on a desert Island a big box of these pens would be my luxury item. I can’t speak highly enough of these pens. 10 stars!

This pen is a dream for a teacher who has to mark hundreds of books each week. It writes a broad fat line, which makes what you write look bigger on the page. The pen is nicely balanced and the grip makes it easy to hold without one getting cramped fingers. The redand green ink is rich and vibrant. I find that these pens do not last as long as a normal ballpoint because the ball is so wide: but I don't care. It does exactly what I need it to do. A brilliant pen - buy it

Good product delivered promptly

I do like these pens (1.6mm extra broad). Comfortable in the hand, a light but not a flimsy feel and they glide over the page just lovely. And available with a broad nib, which is essential as far as I'm concerned. Now if only they came with a security feature that prevented the people I work with from 'borrowing' them indefinitely...

I use it for taking down language lessons in French. This biro is good as it flows easily. A really good biro.

Value for money and does what bought to do.

Pick up one of these pens and write a hurried scrawl, and you'll get a thin and scruffy line that could have come from any pen. It is possible to get a strong, bold line with a slow and careful motion - not to a ridiculous extent, but I find it requires a conscious effort. The resulting line is thick for a ballpoint but not as thick as you could achieve with e.g. a fountain pen. As someone specifically seeking a convenient but broad handwriting pen for neat notetaking in a lab book, I'll keep looking.

Die Pilot BPS GP Kugelschreiber sind ideal für alle, die eine kräftige und gut sichtbare Schrift bevorzugen. Durch die extra breite 1,6-mm-Schreibspitze entsteht ein satter Strich mit einer Strichbreite von 0,55 mm, der auf Papier sehr gut lesbar ist. Das Schreibgefühl ist angenehm flüssig, ohne Aussetzer oder Schmieren. Die Tinte trocknet schnell, was besonders für Vielschreiber oder Linkshänder praktisch ist. Der gummierte Griff sorgt für eine bequeme Handhabung, auch bei längeren Schreibsessions. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass die Kugel gleichmäßig über das Papier gleitet und dabei eine durchgehend kräftige Linie erzeugt. Gerade für Unterschriften oder Notizen mit hohem Kontrast ist dieser Kugelschreiber eine hervorragende Wahl. Insgesamt ein hochwertiges Set für alle, die einen dickeren Strich und eine komfortable Handhabung schätzen. Wer gerne mit breiteren Kugelschreibern schreibt, wird mit diesen Stiften sehr zufrieden sein.
