Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil Filter, M1-210A | 2 Pack

Exactly what my Challenger's 5.7L Hemi actually needs. For my previous few oil changes, I unfortunately decided to use a quick-lube shop. The convenience was great, and I assumed paying them extra for the premium package would mean they used quality materials... or at least correct materials. This last time I did it myself; I'll be doing that from now on. This product was a huge upgrade over quick-lube filters. It turns out, they had put a tiny, restrictive "universal" filter on my car. It was about half the diameter of an appropriately sized filter. Switching back to this proper-sized Mobil 1 M1-210A made an immediate difference. It has a heavy-duty canister, the correct large diameter for unrestricted oil flow, and top-tier filtration quality. My engine is running incredibly quiet and smooth again rather than sounding starved and strained. If you do your own oil changes to protect your engine from cheap shop parts, this is the filter to get. Half the price of a shop visit and ten times the quality. I didn't think to snap a photo to compare the filters... but I attached an accurate AI generated comparison. The valvoline filter holds about ⅓ qt, while the Mobil 1 holds closer to ¾ qt. If you want something done right... do it yourself I guess. And this filter is great.

It’s a good filter, but I wanted to comment on what a good deal this is compared to the brick and mortar, but the AI is getting all nitpicky and trying to pretend there is someone at Amazon that actually cares. What can I say Mobil 1 oil filters are the best. Never had an issue with one or installation of one. Side by side comparison with any other brand I've seen ... better quality materials and more sturdy. Let's face it you want to keep the oil clean and inside your engine not on the ground
