Takes pretty nice. It's a bubblegum flavour.The wash seems to do the job but certainly geared towards kids as there is no after taste or kick after use.We use Listerine, where your mouth feels fresh afterwards. As this is kids, no alcohol etc it doesn't have the same outcome, but kids will actually use it - so that's a plus
