Excellent product. Easy to use. Well worth it.
Been using mine for 3 years and it has been great. I leave it always plugged into my truck so that it is ready to use if I get a check engine light or even if I'm just curious about how the engine is running. It is well worth having, as it has saved more than its cost in not having to pay for diag time at the shop for minor problems that are easily fixed with an off-the-shelf part or when dropping off for things like the inevitable emissions sensor that goes bad. Being able to tell them "It's theowing this specific permanent code and it started on this date," before even taking it in saves paying for that time amd has saved time, as well, as they'll usually order the parts right then, so they can get it done a day sooner when dropping it off. 👌 For any code you get, it tells you what it is, likely fixes for it, and even shows a chart of how many people reported each potential fix as being what resolved the same code for them, PLUS usually a link to buy the part on Amazon if you want to. Also handy for clearing unimportant temporary codes that still throw a MCL/check engine light, since that's one of the only caution lights vehicles have these days, as well. Aside from problems, it can show you real-time data from the vehicle's computer for every sensor it has, which is pretty nifty even if you aren't using it to tune the engine or anything like that. You can gain insights into why maybe the engine feels rough or why it's not accelerating like you normally expect, for instance, by seeing timing information, engine load values, actual throttle position, fuel flow rate/pressure, more temperatures than you ever thought necessary, and more depending on the vehicle. And using it is a cinch. Just plug it into the ODBII port, fire up the app, and it'll find the sensor. Then, pick whether you want to see live data, scan for problem codes, add maintenance info, etc. It'll even show you codes that *don't* cause a warning light, which can help you get ahead of things before they become expensive problems. And it saves it all in history on your phone that you can export to excel or share with the shop or whoever you want. And it isnt tied to a vehicle, so you can just pop it into any vehicle, tap scan codes, and be done with it when your buddy complains their car is showing a check engine light. Overall a great product and does exactly what it claims. Couldn't be simpler to use, and has had zero compatibility issues with any Android phone I've ever used with it.

Worth its weight in GOLD!
Excellent OBD II Scanner! As a young mechanic, I find purchasing a dealer quality scanner worth over $1,000 hard to justify. With the BlueDriver valued at $100, as well as being recommended by my two favorite YouTube mechanics (Scotty Kilmer and ChrisFix), I decided to give it a shot. I had already been using a traditional OBD II scanner that I had previously purchased for around $200 from my local auto parts store, so I was already familiar with diagnostic tool functionality. Once I received the BlueDriver by mail, I couldn't wait to try it out. I was INSTANTLY impressed by not only how much information was available, but also how easy it was to use. So far I've used it on many different vehicles (as it works for all 1996 to present day vehicles) and have had amazing success in diagnosing specific problems and finding faulty parts accurately and efficiently. Not only does it read basic check engine light trouble codes, but it also can identify faults in nearly any system of your vehicle. Any dash light that can possibly come, this thing can read it. This scanner can also read all kinds of live data while the engine is running, i.e. fuel rail pressure, coolant temerature, oil pressure, and so on. This scanner even reads Mode 6 data, which is information and tests your vehicle runs automatically and will result in a pass or fail. My BlueDriver paid for itself on its first use. I was able to identify a mysterious oil pressure issue on a GM truck, ABS problem on a Ford, and even a security VATS (Vehicle Anti Theft System) problem on an older model Buick! These are just a few problems I've been able to resolve using my BlueDriver. Even if you're not a mechanic or tech savvy, this tool is easy enough for almost anyone to use to find out what's going with your vehicle. Don't leave the diagnostic work for those dishonest mechanics trying to rip you off, find out exactly what the problem is BEFORE you pull up to a repair shop so you can keep your repairs short, sweet and affordable. Perfect example of this, I had a mechanic (who was new to me) look at the ABS problem on the ford I was working on at the time. He said he ran tests and looked at the entire system and claimed I needed all sorts of repairs to get the ABS system back up and running (well over $1,000 of work). Knowing I had my BlueDriver waiting in the mailbox at home, I left the repair shop and proceeded to run my own test with my fancy new scanner. After 90 seconds of turning my vehicle on, plugging the scanner in and pairing it to my smartphone, the ABS code came up and said specifically, (left front wheel speed sensor fault). Sure enough, after turning my steering wheel to the far right to look at the ABS wire coming from the wheel hub, I noticed that way up in the wheel well that the ABS wire was damaged by road debris. Spent around $50 for a new wire, replaced it myself and just like that, no more dash lights, no more trouble codes. Not only did I fix the problem, I saved over $950! Hats off to Lemur for creating an excellent OBD II scanner.

Excellent OBD2 Scanner — Worth Every Penny
I couldn’t be happier with this OBD2 scanner. Setup was incredibly quick — just plug it in, connect via Bluetooth, and the app walks you through everything step-by-step. Within minutes I was reading codes, checking live data, and finally understanding what was actually going on with my vehicle instead of guessing. What really stands out is the detailed diagnostics. It doesn’t just give you a generic code — it explains the issue, possible causes, and even recommended fixes. The live data monitoring is super helpful for troubleshooting in real time, and clearing codes after repairs is simple. Build quality feels solid, the connection is stable, and I love that there are no subscription fees. It works flawlessly with my phone and has already saved me a trip (and hundreds of dollars) to the mechanic. If you own a car — especially an older one — this tool is a must-have. Highly recommended for both beginners and experienced DIYers.

Good With A Few Quirks
I’ve been using an older scanner by Autel for several years. While it works well, it does not do any advanced diagnostic like ABS, SRS, etc. I got the BlueDriver for that reason. It’s simple to set up. Just download the phone app, connect the BlueDriver to your car scanner port, start the car, and you’re off. The BlueDriver uses BlueTooth LE so you will actually pair it within the app, which I think it easier than native pairing. The first car I tried it on is my 2004 Lexus ES330. The app gave me a message that this car does not allow the VIN to be read. Funny, because my Autel read it. Anyway, I had to manually input the VIN, which ended up with the app identifying the car as a Lexus ES300. I wanted to scan all codes so I selected that option; the first scan took a good 14 minutes. The second scan took slightly less time, about 12 minutes. Far longer than the Autel but again it was scanning multiple systems. I had a code ai wanted to erase (I knew it was coming back but I wanted to test the scanner). It took a really long time to complete the clean process, another 10-12 minutes. When I ran the second clean process, after allowing the code to return, the process seemed to be going quicker but then suddenly went back to “cleaning 0%”. Then the device said it wasn’t connected to a car. I had not moved from the car or shut the car so that was a connection glitch. I had to pull the scanner, shut the car, and reconnect. The scanner is decent, although it can take a long time, especially doing a full scan. I was hoping I could just choose something like SRS, but I didn’t see that option by itself. So I had to run full diagnostics when I was interested in one thing. So, it’s a nice little tool and not high priced, but it could be improved.

Its awesome
In my opinion most of this devices poor reviews come from the time when you had to pay for the app to activate features. Other reviews simply come from individuals not understanding OBII or how it basically functions. This app imo is awesome 1st I am a used car dealer I need a fast OBII that is accurate and that can do a basic scan of all vehicle to make sure the car can pass emissions and to check for trouble codes or pending codes when a check engine is not on. This does it plus so much more. Another import aspect is I need something small to carry around auctions. It gets tiring even carrying a small OBDII that has a cord. This is perfect it can fit in my front pocket & for rainy days I just toss it in a waterproof wristlet. Today I scanned about 50 cars nissan maximas/ altimas/quests/ muranos/ toyota siennas and prius honda accords, civics, odysseys, BMW 3 series 335 and 325, Porsche Boxster, VW Passats, Jetta, bugs/ Audi A4/ acura RSX and TL. Basically it scanned every car I needed it to. Now on some cars the extra features did not work but that is expected most handheld scanners cannot do certain advanced features unless you have a scanner specifically for Euro cars. And this is where I see alot of complaints from this device come in here. This scanner can do alot of things, clear codes, read emissions readiness and it's accurate it went against my 400 scanner and everything it read this thing registered. Except I noticed on this bad boy I can see when the last codes where erased on a vehicle so I can weed out those dealer cars that clear codes on their problem child cars as they enter the auction. Imo this device is a good value **UPDATE*** 5 Months later and this little devise is my best friend. It goes to auctions 4 auctions a week and probably scans at least 50 cars per auction. Its never been glitchy or wrong. Its also amazing on a carlot scanning a vehicle in front of a potential customer brings car selling to a whole new level they can see the vehicles readiness monitors. SO I have a 2nd one now just for the sale lot. I absolutely love this item and the quickness of scanning a vehicle. I can scan vehicle almost on the auction block if need be for those cars that just appear that you never saw parked in the sale lot.. Also for kicks i scanned a Maserati and it worked..Scans Mercedes c class to. I am pretty sure it will do a basic scan on any car with an OBDII port at this point

Must have when buying a used vehicle!
This thing is awesome! I recently was in the market to buy a used vehicle. Knowing the truck was going to be several years old and a lot of miles for the budget I had. I wanted to have something to check out what was happening behind the scenes internally. I'm mechanically inclined, and can hear and feel a lot of things, but you never know whats behind the scenes happening or getting ready to happen, or someone rigged to work for a little bit to sell. The instructions were okay, the app is user friendly. I found the hack, I would hook it up to the truck, the results run them through Chatgpt, and Chatgpt will go through all the diagnosis and give you the details. Chatgpt tells you what to check for using BlueDriver, then upload the results. Chatgpt instructs to drive the truck for 10 minutes, and specific driving for how to test the transmission and misfires to get an accurate reading. (the Bluedriver is left plugged in), Chatgpt tells you if the engine is strong, transmission is strong while shifting, checks misfire, checks catalytic convertor efficiency. This was money well spent!! I ended up buying a 14 yr old truck after running the diagnoses, driving it and checking the history. Then took it to the dealership and they verified the information Bluedriver provided. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Side note, this also checks the VIN in the computer on vehicles to match with the actual vehicle., makes sure no codes were recently deleted, any current codes and and PENDING codes. Worth every penny to buy this. Snapshot of one of the tests. You can take pictures of the vehicle, VIN along with this data from BlueDriver and Chatgpt will tell you if its a good deal, what to look for, where to look for know issues... If you are buying a used vehicle, this is a really inexpensive way to check it out, if you can not take it to a mechanic, but this did more than I expected. The added benefit is you always have the Bluedriver in your box if you have a check engine light come on, it tells you whats going on and what the solutions are.

Pleasantly surprised
Purchased this off a whim and about 5 minutes of reading about it. Had a EPB light pop up on a vehicle and the other OBDII scanner I have only reads Engine data primarily. Grabbed this device to scan for everything else including the brake system. Set up was quick and easy. Plugged it in, started the car and connected via blue tooth. The process on the app was quick and easy and detected the vehicle with no issues. Performed a detailed scan of all systems and found the code I was hoping not to see. Gave me a quick description of what it was to make looking it up online super easy.

Incredible little gadget!
I bought this because the "new" used 2018 Kia Optima my daughter bought went into "limp" mode. Honestly, we've never owned a vehicle this new so we had no idea what was going on. After running a scan on the engine, it said that #1 and #3 cylinders were bad. We're hoping that spark plugs are a quick fix, but a Google search of the codes said it could be a lot more than just replacing the spark plugs. Fingers crossed that the new spark plugs work!! The car has to go to the KIA dealership anyway because the previous owner never did 2 recalls on this car. I'm just happy I know exactly what is wrong when I take it to the dealership. Expensive little gadget, but definitely well worth the money.

Blij mee
