Andis Cordless T-Outliner Lithium-Ion Trimmer

Great product, I zero gapped it and sharpened the blade so it details excellently. After a year the battery appeared to have died and I was contemplating discarding it but decided to take it out out of the charging cradle and attach the unit directly to the power cable, left it a day to charge and this action fully recharged the battery it's now cutting like a dream.

The Audi’s Cordless T-Outliner is the Ultimate trimmer in my opinion! I have tried so many different trimmers (Wahl etc) and This is the cleanest trimmer. Battery life is amazing and for the normal T-Outliner I would struggle because of the US plug socket. This trimmer is fully UK compatible. Buy this trimmer! You won’t regret it!

I got these in December, probably the biggest waste of money, they lasted a month tops before slowly dying, on the first photo as you can see has been like since I got them, the product didn’t feel new when I received them, I was very disappointed with the way they just gave way, I cleaned them regularly and looked after, and the silver bit in front of the blade just fell out and didn’t stay there so it just didn’t cover the underneath of the blade, just wouldn’t recommend this at all, 150+ pound on nothing I stopped using them, if I could give no stars I would

The Andis T-Outliner is a well known beard trimmer, if not the best in the industry, however i find the cordless version overpriced and it doesn't even work as well as the Andis Slim Line Pro Li (at least in my experience) which is priced at less then half. If you decide to go for it, you might also want to take into account the purchase of a deep tooth blade (Andis GTX) which is recommended in order to make it cut properly and without pulling hair.

My first thoughts were that it seemed a bit pricey, but I’m really pleased that I bought it. The Andis Cordless T-Outliner clipper is quiet yet sturdy and gives you a lovely close shave. I found it to be the best for that close shave and neat lines without marking, cutting or burning my skin when I shave as I have a very sensitive skin. Overall, I am very happy with my clipper although surprised that it is expensive in comparison to the traditional wired Andis T-Outliner and similar clippers. However, for the comfort of being able to shave regularly at ease, I am happy to recommend this clipper.

I have being using Andis Cordless T-Outline for a good while now, so I thought of joining the discussions. Unlike other reviewers, the seal was still on the box the hold the clipper when I got. Firstly, you will need to zero gap the clipper, otherwise, it will cut into your skin. This is certainly true for my clipper; it was clearly too sharp and cut into my skin few times. However, once you zero gap the clipper with Andis Zero Gapper it was a joy to behold and worked brilliantly. Secondly, I found the clipper to be relatively quiet. It will give you the same experience as I got when I was using the wired and traditional Andis T-outliner (which I also have). Moreover, you need to be prepared to buy Andis Zero Gapper to fully enjoy this clipper, if your clipper (in my case) is not zero gap (to prevent any horror story). I was prepared to go the extra mile and buy zero gapper because I found that only Andis T-Outliner (I have tried a few) happens to be only clipper that does not seriously burn my skin when I shave as I have a very sensitive skin. If this applies to you; this clipper is for you. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase although I feel that the clipper is rather too expensive in contrast to the traditional wired Andis T-Outliner and similar clippers. However, for the comfort of being able to shave regularly at ease, this is the way forward. Hence, I am happy to recommend this clipper.

Only problem is if you put too much oil on the blades, you will not get a good cut and the blades start pulling your hair. My solution is to open the blades (ie take them apart) and wipe them clean let them dry and start again. Like other buyers there are a few scratches but that is minor compare to the final cut you get from the product. I would purchase another just in case this one is over used.

Been looking for a cordless T-Outliner for ages and this ticks all the boxes for me! Nice and sharp but takes some wearing into in order for it to reach full sharpness but still its a great portable product.
