Delicious, nutritious and healthy
This rye bread was recommended as one of the few without the nasties in it. As a dark rye bread, it's excellent. We recommend this product.

Not for us but good price and quality.
This bread comes pre-sliced, which was a surprise for me as I had assumed it was just a block of bread. The texture is rather strange, and it is much smaller than standard bread. As a result, the cost would add up more if you were to eat this in place of your more typical larger loaves. I believe that for the quality, it offers good value for money. However, my family personally did not enjoy the taste. It has a peculiar, slightly bitter flavour and is not soft like average flour-based bread. That is fine, but for us personally we would not buy it again. It was nice to try something new, though! I have marked 3* as the price and quality is good, just didn't fit our personal taste buds.

Nice loaf without the sugar
Nice packaged rye bread, which is hard to find in the supermarkets in Manchester. The bread lasts a long time before expiring or going mouldy, and is without the sugar and preservatives added to commercial supermarket bread. The slices are very thin, but that is not a problem for me. It is a nice nutty loaf, which I like to eat toasted with some fried eggs and avocado, or peanut butter.

This has changed my whole view on bread
I bought this as a stand by in case I ran out of standard bread. It lasts for around 3 mouths depending on the best before date. Once opened use within 2 to 3 days or if your like me you would put a little in separate bags for the freezer. This is wheat free with no added yeast, it is not gluten free. This is my first time to taste good German made rye bread and I love it. I cut one long slice in half, toasted them, added a little dab of butter and popped two poached eggs on top. It was so tasty and filling I feel satisfied, I believe if I stick to this bread, it can only lead to weight loss as no added sugar as in standard bread..

Waste of money
Awful! Tasted like cardboard! And when I cut the loaf, it came out in like little “strips” Which means it must’ve been refrigerated for a very long time! Pfft.
