I used this in a flip house because it was less than half the price of the big box store versions. It looks great, was easy to install, and was packaged and shipped well so it arrived in great condition! The controls are easy to identify and use. I believe it should be a good quality, powerful fan for years to come.

Pretty basic but adequate. Replaces a 35+ yr old range hood and fit perfectly into its slot. I like the option of either ductless venting, round duct, or rectangular ducting. Not sure how the screen is removed for cleaning, but it'll work out. Only basic directions so know what you're doing. Nice addition is the included lay-out sheet for screw placement, etc. Pin that up and you're set to start your screw holes perfectly for mounting. For this price I highly recommend this hood. Not the fanciest but it'll do the job and looks nice. Only real question is how does one replace the LED light if it should go out?? From what I can see it may need an entirely new hood. Therefore, four stars.

This is typical of many Chinese knock-offs. In many respects it's fine. However, the engineering is flawed. Kind of tricky to install, and the big one--NO COVER PLATE FOR THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS. I don't know about you, but having electrical connections exposed to the steam and grease of a cooktop seems like a recipe for disaster to me. I ended up taking the plate from my old greasy range hood and adapting it to this one. I kept it, but for that reason will not be buying it again. Otherwise looks and works fine. If the manufacturer would spend 30 cents more for that cover plate, it would get five stars.

Was able to put up quite quickly

Install was easier than I thought it be. It’s also true to size and fit my space perfectly. Decent quality, not too loud and it was delivered ahead of schedule! Overall definitely a good product for the price!
