With the name "Rose Clay" I really wanted this to smell like rose. It does not. Sadly, it only smells like "mild unobjectionable cosmetic product." I would seriously not mind several more drops of rose essential oil splashed into it. HOWEVER, it works amazingly. I was skeptical based on some of the reviews that said it is sticky or grabs skin or that it doesn't work. For me, IT WORKS. I have been using natural deodorant since my mid 20s and they all worked, more or less, until I hit menopause, and then, boy let me tell you, that made a big difference. I found that without applying again or showering after strenuous activity, I'd smell. With this, NO SMELL ALL DAY AND INTO THE NEXT DAY. It's impressive in its anti-smell qualities. I also have sensitive skin and can't use the baking soda variety. It gives me a rash. It also flakes less than the other brands I used before (in fact it flakes not at all), so I go through it slower (which means it's a better value) and doesn't leave white glops in my underarms which can be visible with a no-sleeved shirt. Whatever is in this, I'm hooked. I might try the rose-juniper one and see if it's as good, but for now I'm very happy to support this company with the Rose Clay. During the first week, when I first applied this, I felt a little bit of a sensation, and I fully expected I'd get a reaction to it. However, I did not. I've been using it 2 months now (and it's only half gone, and I used to go through another brand in 3 weeks.) In retrospect that little tingly-ness might be the "prebiotic" whatever is in it. The tingly feeling disappeared after a week or so. In any case, it works and I could not be more thrilled. I'll be a regular customer from now on.

I was in search of a brand that was cruelty free, weird chemical free and BDS list safe and this was it. I've tried other brands before with same parameters but they never lasted that well. This actually lasts all day, feels great and pretty sure fixes how you smell or sweat under there. And because I only use it once or twice a day (morning and night) it's lasting so long, so it's worth the price. Easy to apply and I'll be getting more for traveling

I like no scent under my arms. No funk and no scent. It must smell like nothing or ima freak the f out. Jk. I wear fragrance so I don’t need additional scent influences to disrupt the aroma generating from the products on my firm buttocks. The only thing about this product which I have never had anything but great results from is… you have to take off the cap and heat the stick under your arm for about 10 seconds to make it easy to apply smoothly. It is very tacky cold and hard to apply. Other than that it’s the best so far I’ve used and there was no issue switching at the beginning like irritation or stronger odor. The one for me

Doesn't last. Needs to reapplied 3-4x a day. Darkened my armpits and worst of all I grew a painful ball under each armpit. Quite disappointed.

I really like the scent with this and it works great. My only complaint is that it’s not soft or smooth to put on. If it would glide on smoother, then I would have given this 5 stars.

Best non baking soda deodorant! Baking soda is the worst! I can’t believe the baking soda ones are still popular, they destroyed my skin biome and left me stinkier than I’ve ever been! I’ve used this honestly phresh product for a few years now and it is the best. I really hope they never stop selling this!

I used to buy this at Whole Foods before they stop selling it. Back then, it had a very strong and refreshing mint smell that I LOVED! Unfortunately, they changed ingredients so the scent is different and very faint to nonexistent. As for applying, it tends to grip to skin (despite warming it up) but, I do like how it doesn’t stain or damage my clothes (unlike other natural deodorants that have all ruined my clothes) As for function, it’s OK. I kept buying it because of scent and being residue free..but I have to be honest with myself - it just doesn’t hold up. Under stress/anxiety or any small amount of sweat..I stink. To the point I’m self conscious people can smell me too. How embarrassing! :( On chill days when I’m not sweating, by end of day my armpits are a mix of light mint scent and body odor. Definitely don’t recommend this for the gym or workout classes. You’d have to reapply which I feel to be an inconvenience (also change your wet armpit smelly tee). I hate this didn’t work for me. Please go back to old scent, maybe that might help?

This item is hard to get hold of, finally ordered on amazon. The smell of this one is much nicer than the others of the same brand. Love that the ingredients are natural. Has a waxy feel to it but does the job better than most other natural deodorants ive used. Recommend it highly.

Lively scent and seems to do the job too!

I went for this product as I am making the change to use more natural toiletries. There is a nice natural smell off the deodorant. The problem is I actually smell more sweaty after a few hours having this on than I do with no deodorant! It seems very dry too when applying.
