It's been so long since I got this and it still isn't near being full. Plus when I transfer footage [even 30GB at a time] it's FAST!! it's like hungry for more haha. Plus it's so cute!!

I purchased this Lacie 2 TB SSD external hard drive to back up my Apple computer using Time Machine! It was so fast and so easy to create the back up I’m thrilled with that. I wish there was an 8 TB SSD hard drive just like it —they’re hard to find!

I’ve had this for about a week and works seamlessly with my 2023 MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt 4 port. It’s fast and mounts quickly. A definite upgrade from my 5 year old Western Digital. Transferred +200GB directory in minutes.

Beats other storage external devices. It is rugged and reliable.

It is very efficient. I can not believe how a small device can accomplish this much.

This has been a great product so far, but I have some major gripes with the design... It looks really cool and seems to be well-designed to protect against bumps and drops, but the hard drive comes in three pieces: the hard drive itself, the USB-C cable, and the "cap" that covers the hard drive's USB-C port. These are three separate pieces that really only should be two: the hard drive and cord. It seems inevitable that I am going to lose the cap... Also: the white "pouch" the product comes in does not seem to have been meant to be permanent, so you have at least 2 if not 3 pieces to this hard drive without a means of ensuring they are kept all together... So while hard drive looks cool and functions great (so far), the design IMO is kind of poorly thought-out. I only harp-on about this, because the design of the product is so heavily marketed, even applying a specific designer's name to it and touting how "good" it is.

Um.... 2000mb/s ??? No... not even close. Where are they getting this figure from? I'm getting 900s consistently. It works... but come one now.

it's fast, and great to edit video off of but it's a tad expensive. good build quality and has been reliable so far.

2Tの外付けSSD（11個）に映像データを保存。 念の為、４Tの外付けHDD（5個）と ２Tの外付けHDD（1個）にバックアップしているが、追加や削除を繰り返してるので、 デフラグの代わりに初期化・再コピーで対応。その為、一時保管場所として本製品を購入。 初期化は、これを機に古いMac OS拡張（ジャーナリング）から 最新のAPFS（アップル・ファイル・システム）に全てのSSDとHDDを変更。 良かった点 ・SSDはコピーが速い（HDDの３〜４倍くらい速い） ・発熱が少ない（SSDなのでオレンジのゴムカバー付きでも熱くならない） 気になった点 ・2025年11月購入なのに、届いた製品の製造年が2024年で古い。 ・価格が高い。約40000円。LaCie製品全般で高く感じる。 今回は海外取り寄せでなく在庫ありの為、２日後に届いたので良しとする。 持っている外付けのSSDとHDD全てが、デザインが好きなLaCie製品なので、まぁ満足しています。

Ottimo hard disk esterno. Capiente e facile da usare. LaCie è sempre una garanzia.

Tenía problemas con mi computadora y ahora funciona mejor porque lo usé como disco de arranque. Llegó en la fecha compromiso.
