Excellent.performance and great value for money!
am very impressed with the AMD Ryzen 5 8500G. The installation was straightforward and very easy, even for a beginner. It is highly compatible with my motherboard, and I had no issues setting it up. In terms of performance, it handles multitasking and office work smoothly. It's also a great choice for light gaming thanks to the integrated graphics. The noise level is very low, and the fan remains quiet even under load. Overall, it offers incredible value for money, especially considering its low power consumption and high performance. The product arrived in brand-new condition and exactly as described. Highly recommended!

Good budget CPU with APU
Plays most eSports games at 60fps not bad Apu only better Apu is 8600g which was more expensive

Good processor for those on somewhat of a budget
Pretty decent processor for being the lowest end in the Ryzen line. Desktop runs smooth and commands respond with minimal lag. Overclocked to 3.55 and it took up some slack nicely. I use 5 chassis fans in addition to the CPU cooler and temps are so low my fans never spin up.

Affordable and worthy entry into the AM5 platform
Was bought to test out if it is good enough to replace a Ryzen 7 5700G setup. Pro 1: Worth cost of entry to AM5. It essentially matches the Ryzen 7 5700G in performance with less and weaker cores (more on that in the cons). Pro 2: Extremely easy to cool. Pro 3: Decent beginner gaming. It can play AAA games at 1080p w/ low settings ~30 FPS. It can play Indie games at 1080p with mid to high settings depending on the game. Con 1: Not a true Zen 4 CPU because 4 out of 6 cores is smaller and the MHz is cut down. AMD calls them Zen 4c cores. Con 2: Annoying IHS that traps TIM. Pro Tip: The Zen 4c cores are actual desktop CPU cores and not laptop cores like Intel’s E-Cores. *** UPDATE *** No longer recommend as entry to AM5 because the 8600G has dropped significantly in cost.

Good For Tight Budgets
The Ryzen 5 8500G is not something I'd recommend for anyone who can afford a little extra to go for the Ryzen 5 8600g. However, it is still a good processor and it does what I need it to. I was on a very strict budget and the 8600g was outside of it. The good about the Ryzen 5 8500g is that it is a fast CPU with great onboard graphics. The main two problems I have with it are its limited PCIE lanes, making it terrible for upgrading to a dedicated GPU later down the lines, and the fact that its price is son similar to the 8600g that it makes more sense to buy that. The 8600g has enough PCIE lanes to afford a good dedicated GPU later down the line and it is slightly more powerful.

Smooth Upgrade with Built-In Graphics and Windows 11 Ready
I built a new PC for my grandmother-in-law using the AMD Ryzen 5 8500G, upgrading her from a 2400G. She specifically wanted a new system that could run Windows 11, and this chip was a perfect choice. Compared to the 2400G, everything feels faster and more responsive — programs open quicker, multitasking is smoother, and the integrated graphics are a big step up for video streaming and light tasks. Since the 8500G has strong built-in graphics, there was no need for a separate GPU, which keeps the build simple and cost-effective. The CPU also comes with a stock cooler included, which is a nice bonus. It’s perfectly fine for everyday use, though you can always upgrade later if you want something quieter or more efficient. Setup was straightforward, and pairing it with an AM5 motherboard and DDR5 memory gives her plenty of future upgrade options. For now, it already handles everything she needs and should stay useful for years. Pros: Noticeable upgrade from older APUs like the 2400G Windows 11 ready out of the box Smooth performance with integrated graphics Comes with a stock cooler No GPU required for everyday use Cons: Requires AM5 motherboard and DDR5 RAM (adds to cost) Overall, the Ryzen 5 8500G was the ideal upgrade for her — Windows 11 compatibility, snappy everyday performance, included cooler, and no hassle with a dedicated graphics card.

初めてのAMD!
初めてのAMDさんでしたがうまく組めて安心しました。 最近のモデルで普段使いでは十分すぎるスペックかと思います。 ゲームなど重たい作業をする人には物足りないかもですが、私にはこれで十分です!
