Intro guide to peace and spirituality
Easy to read and follow, though some concepts are simplified, but I would still recommend this to someone who is overthinking and has some interests in spirituality. This book is not for those dealing with serious mental health issues or real-world pressures — financial stress, career choices, education, marriage, and the like.

New techniques
This book really does try to help you to stop overthinking, and by reading how other people are makes you realise you aren’t that much different from everyone else but there’s techniques to help you that maybe you can benefit from.

Some useful insights. God as the solution of putting
The book starts well with a good insights into why over thinking creates problems and anxiety and how to be aware of the impact thinking has. These insights alone are transformative. However, the advice for preventing over thinking essentially boils down to ‘don’t think’ and ‘just let God guide you’. It becomes increasingly focused on religion and God as our saviour. This is a book about spirituality. For me personally, I would have preferred more focus on psychology

Genius insights
For someone that has struggled with overthinking and thus the negative feelings and emotions that come from overthinking for the majority of my life, reading this book has helped to give me a new, wonderful perspective on life. To learn that there is a difference between thoughts vs thinking and how well the author explains the difference, if I can train my brain to master the techniques in this book to muscle memory/second nature, I can see my life being a lot more joyful, lighter, and easier. I recommend this book to anyone who feels that their thinking is holding them back from living the life they want to live. I feel that this book shares a lot of similarities with Eckhart Tolle’s fantastic book titled ‘the power of now’ and that these two books complement each other a lot, having both of these books available to read truly is a wonderful gift that helps to break down unhelpful cycles of thinking.

A Life-Changing Perspective on Mental Freedom
This masterpiece by Joseph Nguyen offers profound insights into the relationship between our thoughts and suffering. The book excellently demonstrates how our thinking, not our circumstances, creates our psychological and emotional experiences. What makes this book exceptional is its practical approach to achieving mental freedom. Nguyen brilliantly explains the three core principles - universal mind, consciousness, and thought - and how they shape our moment-to-moment experience. The author's clear writing style makes complex concepts accessible without oversimplifying them. The book's greatest strength lies in its transformative message about finding unconditional peace and joy in the present moment, regardless of external circumstances. Nguyen provides valuable tools for becoming unaffected by negative thoughts and feelings, while maintaining a compassionate approach to self-development. As someone who has read numerous self-help books, this one stands out for its authentic, non-prescriptive approach to mental wellness. The insights about not believing every thought that crosses our mind have been genuinely life-changing. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to understand the root cause of psychological suffering and wanting to experience true mental freedom. This book doesn't just offer temporary solutions - it provides a fundamental shift in how we perceive our thoughts and reality.
