UGREEN Aux Bluetooth Receiver 5.4 Adapter for Car with 3.5mm Jack

I underestimated this at first, I even submitted a returns and bought a different brand's version. (The other brand was seriously abysmal) I decided I might have missed something. Did 20 minutes of troubleshooting and found the 12v adaptor of my car wasn't sitting properly - fixed that, fixing the disconnecting-reconnecting issue and the static. I really didn't like the spinning RGB lights, especially at night. Re-reading both user manuals, there is infact an option to disable them (and it doesnt reset when power is lost) The microphone is good enough for in-car calls. The buttons have a premium feel and the response is instant (as in, no latency to skip/pause songs etc) My only gripe is that it talks when pairing. I'd rather it beep. But for 13-14 pound, this is an excellent device. Just make sure the power supply is in good condition. All in all this a simple, great, cheap alternative when you don't have BT in your car as default.

A nice bit of kit for those cars that don’t support music streaming. I have an Audi a4 Allroad that aupports Bluetooth calls but not music which is why I bought this item. The device has clear instructions but its very simple set up. The sound is clear as if it were part of the cars media system really happy with it. A compact design that does have a rgb light but that can be turned off by holding the centre button. No issues with connecting and it has a voice activated message to let you know it’s active when you get in the car and turn on the ignition.

- Quality of the materials used is good - Playback quality is great - The buttons are clicky and responsive - It connects and interfaces verry well over blutooth - The microphone is functional not fantastic but probably depends on where u mount it - The only issues is 1. Trying to find some place to mount it in the car as dont really want to just leave it dangling 2. The light on the device constantly flashing and changing colour is anoying while driving but can disable that with a button combination but didnt seam to be any instructions in the box so had to look it up online

I purchased this Bluetooth receiver for around £13, and I've been really impressed! It connected to my phone instantly, and the sound quality is great. A lot of reviews mentioned an annoying multicolored light that couldn't be turned off, but I found a simple fix! Just hold the center button for about 5 seconds, and it turns off. The receiver works straight out of the box and looks neat once mounted, with all cables concealed. The only downsides are that the microphone is only for calls and not for recording audio in videos, and you can't fast-forward on Spotify. However, it works fine with the built-in music app on Android. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it for the price!

Such a cool little product. The wire is quite long, which for my car is a great help as my cigarette power port is too low down to get many of the other Bluetooth devices as I wouldn't be able to reach it. Functions are easy and simple to use. Volume up/down. Skip through your song playlist backward and forward. The button you use to answer calls can also be used to pause your music. Setup: simply plug in the aux and USB into your car, pair the Bluetooth to your phone, begin playing music and you are all set up. Comes with 2 x double sided sticky pads so that you can conveniently place it. They stick very well ans when I lifted mine off the dash for the first time after a few months, no residue was left behind to clean up. Excellent value for your money. Have recommended this to many people.

Arrived and time and works generally okay but it's not very reliable. When playing audio, it constantly has multicoloured lighting effects flashing on the device which is annoying to see in your periphery but it's at least easy to recognise if it's working. The buttons are too close to each other and too easy to press so without looking, you'll likely keep pausing the music instead of skipping forward. Finally, and perhaps the most glaring fault, it randomly goes into pairing mode and clears it's memory so you need to pair your device again. I've paired my phone to it over 20 times since buying this a few months ago. The audio quality otherwise is great, cable is a good length and it's very easy to use. Update since review. It now constantly goes into paring mode every two or so sessions. Not recommended.

So simple to fit, USB power and plug into the Aux on your radio. Works a treat on mine, Bluetooth is crisp clear for streaming Spotify and 6 Music on BBC sounds, phone calls are clear, you can answer the call / end the call using the middle button, you have volume up and down top and bottom , and track up and down on the left and right, easy to pair to my iPhone, connects straight away soon and the cars started, but as others have mentioned, the swirling light round the answer /end button while playing music is distracting at night, I’m getting the black sharpie pen out this weekend and colouring it in, quite why they chose to have this effect on it, beyond me, however it’s worth every penny. You will not be disappointed. 10/10 product

Used in my car to play music through my iPhone and it connected straight away and it works great. Really pleased with it.

Highly recommended for those who dont have a deck with a screen. I used to have to plug in my phone to listen to music in my car. I also had to use my phone screen to pause or change the song. This was super annoying, particularly because I use a phone wallet and would need to unplug/replug my phone every time i went into a store. Now i just jump in the car and turn my keys, and the bluetooth connects within 5 seconds. I mounted the little controller next to my gear shift, so it is super easy to pause and change songs without taking my eyes off the road. The sound quality is good, and it was easy to set up. It initially played a whining sound through my speakers when there was no song playing, but I figured out that it was due to the USB plug I was using to power it. I tried a different USB power adapter in the cigarette lighter port of my car, and that solved the issue. Overall, I have been super happy with it and would recommend to anyone who is plugging their phone in manually to listen to music.

I've owned this for over a year and it has been fantastic. Easily the best option in this category. No fussing with rechargeable versions that stick out of your console, the easily accessible controls are responsive and most importantly can be used without looking. Solid build quality with a nice braided cable. The microphone quality is good for hands-free calling, and the playback quality is excellent. The Bluetooth range is also very impressive, my phone frequently stays connected even when going into stores or home. I wanted it to be removeable/repositionable so I didn't use the included adhesive and instead opted for 3M Dual-Lock which has worked great.
