Spare Parts Wheelbarrows Axle Bracket Set

Worked great for my Kobalt 7 cu ft single wheel wheelbarrow. I couldn't find these axle brackets anywhere else so I’m grateful to this seller.

Repaired the problem better than the originals

I was able to repair my old wheelbarrow with these brackets. I had to replace a tire. A lot cheaper to fix it then buying a new wheelbarrow. I recommend this item.

I installed these on a 9 year old Jackson 2 wheel barrow. The holes ALMOST line up perfectly. I did not have to re-drill the holes but I had to use some persuasion with a hammer. NOT shown in the image is a "peen" present on each axel bracket. I had to use a large punch and remove the peen to allow the axel to pass through the bracket. The axel on the 2 wheel barrow is held in place with large washers and a cotter pin. This was way cheaper than buying a new wheelbarrow at about $180. I recommend this product. I do not recommend the large 8 cuft wheelbarrow because the front of the bucket extends in front of the two handles. When you dump the barrow, the bucket takes the load and ends up bending and cracking the plastic bucket. I had to replace mine with a metal bucket after just a few months. This worked well on my kobalt wheelbarrow, i did have to punch the divot that they stamped into each bracket (using a small sledge and a metal flat end socket adapter) To flatten that pin, so they could side onto the axle, but other then that, they worked perfectly and brought new life into my old wheelbarrow!

Very easy to replace broken axle brackets.

Bought for one of the most common 2 wheel poly wheelbarrows on the market. Had to be forced wider to fit on the axle. Had to grind off a stop pin of steel that was INSIDE the tube part. THEN I still had to re drill a new hole in the barrow handle (weakening it's life strength) in order to make it work. The steeli is also thinner than the original. I DID give it 3 stars because I was able to make it work with some ingenuity and effort , but I do not have faith it will last many years.
