When it comes to DK books this is one of the best.Suitable for all Warhammer fans of any age - be they painters or gamers - this has to be a must for their bookshelf.Like all DK books it’s set out in such an accessible format for everyone, it goes into so much detail and includes so many models it’s unreal. I couldn’t even count how many models this covers across so many Warhammer factions.Every page is inspirational for a Warhammer fan to look at and certainly for painters it will be inspirational. The artwork generally is stunning.In terms of the make up of the book it is a heavy weight hardback with a stunning cover. It has over 300+ pages and the paper and printing is of exceptional quality.I cannot recommend the book enough.Unfortunately my “son-in-law” managed to end up with two copies because some how his dad and I missed that we had both bought him one. We have no idea how. My copy was easiest to return so that has been done, with no issues at all.If you are a Warhammer fan and are wondering whether to get this book, procrastinate no longer and simply do it. You will not be disappointed! 😁

The only 40k book that has made me feel nostalgia collecting White Dwarf magazines as a kid. This book is just so fun to read its also great as a model reference for understanding type attribute details and also seeing top quality painted models from nearly every part of 30k and 40K where relevant. A must have on sale don't hesitate. If you really are not keen on it, then just send it back. Personally I love it and its helping me as a reference to paint my first army.

A really good and informative read, with plenty of great illustrations. The actual content is fantastic and this is definitely something worth having in your collection, whether you’re new to Warhammer or have been into it for years.My only concern is the physical quality of the book. The pages are standard quality and the illustrations are good, but the spine is my main worry. The pages look like they could eventually come away from the hardcover itself. It’s definitely a book I’d recommend taking care of and reading at a desk rather than throwing in a bag.Overall, the contents are amazing and it’s a great addition to any Warhammer collection.

The models and artwork were gorgeous—every page brought the Warhammer 40K universe to life with stunning visuals. It was easy to get lost in the details.What I loved was how accessible it felt, striking a great balance between being easy to skim for highlights and detailed enough to dive into the lore without feeling overwhelmed. I have played a few 40K video games and would love to get into the miniatures (but haven't yet) and this book was very helpful in providing more context for the factions I have encountered in the video games. The coverage of the different factions, even the minor ones, seemed thorough.The only downside I can think of is that I wish it had come out sooner when I was younger. But better late than never, right? For me, this book is a no-brainer, especially for the price (I paid $45). It's got everything I wanted: amazing visuals, tons of lore, and it was just plain fun to flip through. I highly recommend it! Hopefully DK releases more books like this for other gaming franchises.
