Amazing coffee
Great little coffee pot. Brews quickly and tastes great. Wonderful if you are looking for basically 2 regular cups of coffee. This thing is gorgeous as well. The only downside is that it shuts off after 30 minutes and I have to turn it back on. Wish the timer were for 2 hours before auto shut off

Works well and brews a good cup of coffee
Finding a small coffee pot that's also is lefthanded friendly is surprisingly difficult, this one is the first one I've found that's not over $100 dollars, I haven't tried the more expensive machines because this one is easy to use for lefties and righthanders. The adjustable brew strength is a lovely feature and I've found myself actually using less ground beans and still having a nicely flavored coffee without tasting acidic, over or worst yet under brewed. The fine mesh filter is extremely handy and easy to clean, along with the rest of the machine, the auto off feature isn't adjustable and is reliable at 30 minutes, if there is waiting coffee in the carafe it stays warm for about a half hour after the Auto-Off. The carafe has a tube that the brew drips down, at first I thought was useless then learned it helps mix the coffee so the bottom of the pot isn't the strongest while the top weaker. The two buttons that you need to start the coffee to brew, the main power button on the stand base under the carafe and then the Brew button that located front and center with the brew strength options, I've forgotten to hit this button more then once, this makes for an extra cranky impatient morning. The brew button does fade in an out while brewing so you can stand and watch impatiently while the heavenly nectar of the gods tease you, the light stays lite when brewing is done. Filling is easy with the lid opens to the back and you can fill the water on the left or right side of the basket and lid hinge (this is where the lefty access is, many small makers have the lid hinge on the left so your non-dominant hand is needed to spill water and grounds everywhere). The only issue I've come across is, if your like me and inpatient at filling your cup or the machine with water the carafe does dribble, the strong setting takes over 10 minutes to brew, as mentioned I'm inpatient and even though it makes a delightfully good cup of coffee I have issues waiting the full time. I've knocked off one star on 'Easy to Use' only because of the dribbling carafe.

Works well so far.
Mid 20th-century modern look without the mid 20-th century build. It is compact and takes about the same space as my previous 5-cup brewer. Two-button control is easy to operate and reliable, though it is not programable which at this price point seems like it should have been. Glass carafe seems a bit thin, but I haven't broken it yet and the carafe from my old brewer also fits. The carafe pours well without a tendency to spill, which is a nice improvement from my other. I fill the carafe with water to the metal ring and pour that in the reservoir, which slightly exceeds the max fill line in the reservoir. I have had no issues with spillage or leaking on the counter. The instruction book does suggest making sure the filter is not clogged if that does happen. The included reusable filter is a definite step up from my previous; it brews coffee without allowing grounds in the pot. Nice! For me the brew is fine on the middle setting, at least as good as my old brewer. As others have noted, the coffee is not as hot as typical. I'd say the temperature is lawsuit safe (thanks lawyers 🙄) but won't satisfy everyone. Not an issue for me. If it isn't quite hot enough, I'll zap it in the microwave. So far, the machine overall is working fine for me. I will update this review if that changes. One month update: Use it every day, no problems. Filling the reservoir can be a bit tricky if you insist on emptying a full pot of water into the reservoir. I suggest stopping when you can pour no more and stay close to the reservoir opening.6-month update: Use it every day. Works great. Has been completely reliable for me. Never leaks water, but you might spill water while filling the reservoir if you try to pour too fast. Happy with the purchase.14-month update: Still using it every day, and it is still working great without problems. One thing to be aware of is that in the upper part of the back is a small overfill drain hole. If the carafe is filled too much, then the water level will exceed the max allowable capacity, and water will drain out of the overfill hole and onto the counter. I can reliably fill the carafe up to the bottom of the metal ring without causing an overflow, so that is what I always take care to do. Overall, works as well and looks as good as the day I bought it. I do wish the top of the carafe was easily removable for cleaning.2-year update: This has worked flawlessly for the past 2 years. One issue with many units like this is that it is very difficult to clean the water reservoir, and who-knows-what accumulates in there. Certainly a periodic cleanse with half vinegar half water would be a good idea. But, I finally decided that I wanted to reduce my plastic exposure especially with hot liquids. So out when the Amaste and my insulated plastic mug (I'm sure I ingested billions of micro plastic particles from that!) and in came the Coletti electric percolator. The Coletti has its own quirks, but it is all stainless steel in the water path. Then I swapped out the plastic mug for a ceramic mug with a coffee warmer and silicone cup lid. And that ends that chapter.

So cheaply made and didn’t work from the get go.
When I opened it I realized that it was only a 5 cup pot. But that’s totally on me. I’m sure I didn’t read the description thoroughly. The second thing I noticed was that it was so lightweight and plastic. Ruh-Roh. I was setting up an Airbnb so I thought I’d better check it out prior to a guest using it for the first time. Filled it, turned it on.. came back 30 mins later to nothing. No heat, no water in the carafe. I wasn’t surprised. It FELT like it was not going to work right out of the box. When I started the return on Amazon and realized that I’d paid $69.99 for this garbage I was appalled! Glad to return it.

Attractive. Simple to use. Not for me.
I had my previous GE 5-cup maker for 20+ years, and with the lid finally cracked, decided it was time to replace it with something more modern. I appreciate how simple the Amaste Coffee Maker is to use: press power, select brew strength & brew. However, it does not make the equivalent 5 cups to my former machine so I find having to make 2 brews every morning for 2 people, which makes this a single-brew device for my use. Design-wise, coffee maker is attractive-looking. There is a funnel connected to center of carafe lid; I'm not certain why this piece was necessary, as I find it gets in the way and makes washing carafe more challenging. Given the unit is black, odd that it came with a white filter, and needless to say, stained with coffee after first use.Comparing PROs and CONs, I feel this coffee maker is overpriced. At this price range, it should have additional features like being programmable. This will not be a re-purchase for me should I find myself having to buy another.

Lean & Mean Green Machine
Just as advertised, and true to the great reviews i read prior to purchase - this has no fancy bells or whistles, lest you consider the "strength" dial to be fancy/shmancy. the brewed coffee (i used the middle setting) was hot and crisp and flavorful - the spray nozzle really helps accentuate the inherent characteristics of the diverse varietals i brewed - the residency the different settings afford, via pulse immersion (or lack thereof for the milder setting), was distinctly noticeable. sure, other brewers feature this method, but for one this economic and stylish, well ... let's just say it more than exceeds expectations in those regards. one thing i am not a fan of is cleaning brew basket filters, but i'll get over that. also note that the included carafe is very small, as is the entire unit - i filled the carafe (or pot, in the modern parlance) up to the highest watermark, and put in four heaping scoops of ground coffee - this filled my 16oz mug up perfectly, not a drop was wasted, so no issue for me with the 30 minute warming window before it shut itself off (a feature i love, btw ... a failsafe, if you will). by the time i was ready for my secind cup, it had cooled down, and was good to fire up another fresh brew - i'm the only coffee drinker in the house, so it's perfect for my one-off mugs in the morning ... but be advised that if there are gonna be a pair sharing the coffee, you'll need to trim to 8ozs per.Definite bang for the stylish buck here, fits perfectly in my retro/art-deco themed EIK, and the quality of the brewed coffee is absolutely top-notch ... highly recommended!

Coffee maker that makes a great cup of coffee
I have had this coffee maker for a while now and really like it. It works exactly as advertised. The only issue I had was with the reusable coffee filter. I now use the paper filters that can easily be used with the product. Not a problem. I really like the product.

Muy bonita y efectiva
Es preciosa, sus tres opciones de intensidad del café son útiles y funcionan. Es sencilla de usar, la medida perfecta para una o dos personas.

Turns on, doesn't brew
I just received this coffee maker in the mail last night. Was so excited to use it this morning, but when I turned it on, nothing came out. I've looked up instructions on the internet and Youtube to make sure I did it right. Multiple times, I filled it with water and grinds, turned it on, clicked the brew button, and 30 minutes later there was still no coffee. Disappointed, and a total waste of money.

Delicious coffee & perfect size
I replaced my 6mth old Keurig for this wonderful coffee maker. I missed the scent of coffee, and having the convenience of a pot of coffee. This is perfect for 1-2 people. It makes delicious coffee - I have only tried the medium strength setting, so far. I don't find it is slow to process, it is average, and 100% worth waiting for. The size is perfect for my needs, a small office kitchen space. The butterscotch (cream) colour choice is quite unique. I would buy this again! The suggested delivery time was 2 weeks, it actually arrived in 4 days. A nice surprise. I included a few photos for size comparison.

Great function, great coffee
This coffee make is so cute and works great. My only complaint is that I wish the warmer stayed on a bit longer. Other than that it is fantastic
