Worked good for what little I used it. Hoping to use it this summer to brush the pine siding on our barn to restain it.

This surface conditioning tool works great. It’s really powerful with the 1400W motor and the variable speed is super helpful for different tasks. I used it on stainless steel and the results were Amazon-ing, it gives a wonderful polished finish and smooth surface. I used it on regular steel as well! The tool is easy to hold and doesn’t feel too heavy, even after using it for a while. The handle extention helps a lot to have perfect unakward position of your hands. The set comes with everything you need to get started. I'm engineer and I can tell you it’s a solid machine. If you need to polish or condition metal, I would highly recommend this one. Worth every buck you spend! The price is much better that more expensive competition with same quality!

This tool works as well as the more expensive units, although it's definitely on the heavy side. I've used the hell out of this and completely stripped my car with it and a few roloc discs. The weight doesn't seem so bad after some use, but that just could be from the added bonus of it being a piece of fitness equipment for your forearms.

Hard to use

Purchased this burnishing polishing machine with variable speeds for a car project. I ended up using it on the deck and many other home applications as well. I also purchased a variety of polishing grits to add to this project, which ended up being super inexpensive compared to hiring someone to help me out. This machine is unbreakable; it's heavy-duty and powerful. great size handles.

I'll just echo a lot of the other reviews; I wish I'd gotten one of these years ago. Fastest rust removal of any method I've ever tried, although it mainly is only going to work on large flat areas. Cleaned up a disassembled table saw in about an hour. Removed heavy rust from the table, stripped all the sheetmetal for paint, very easy. Everyone that works on old machinery needs this tool in their arsenal.

Really poor build quality as expected. Item arrived covered in grease and I would not be surprised if it failed lead testing compliance. Motor is incredibly noisy and the weight makes it unreasonable for extended periods of use. Much of amazons inventory or marketplace has become littered with garbage. It has been disappointing to see. I can appreciate the plethora of choices, but when the vast majority are white-labeled rubbish from the same manufacturers you’re not really offering customers choice or access to a real marketplace. There are not a dozen choices of most things, rather there are 2-3 choices and the rest are chintzy duplicates.

I held off on getting one of these for a long time, but I finally gave in, and wish I'd bought it sooner. It makes cleaning up sheet metal after CNC Plasma cutting sooooo much faster and easier. It feels solid in my hand, but not too heavy. The cord is soft and flexible, not stiff like so many cheap power cables. It doesn't have any stupid safety/trigger mechanisms, and in fact, allows you to lock it on, which is awesome. If I needed 2, I'd buy this again.
