Finally a clear and highly glossy spf lippie without the weird taste! Sticky at first, but actually stays put for hours. Gentle on my sensitized lips (autoimmune rashes triggered by sun). Has a hint of the expected spf smell, but very tolerable. Free of petroleum/coconut/sunflower (my allergies). Good value, highly recommended.

I love the sunscreen, so I decided to try this. It's thick and shiny. It has a smooth, non-runny texture, which is great. I assume it protects the lips from UV rays because it stays on for a long time. However, this gloss tastes TERRIBLE. Regardless of how thick or thin it's applied, it's always in my mouth! Some lip glosses run, especially if you apply too much. But this one is a mystery. I apply a normal layer, but it still ends up in my mouth all day! I've even tried applying a crazy thin layer to the bottom lip only and rubbing my lips together to minimize how much gloss might slide off, but to no avail. I've been wearing lip gloss for decades. When my lips go dry, I'm reaching for the nearest lip balm, moisturizer, gloss, etcetera. Therefore, I'm not licking it off anything like that. This lip gloss tastes so nasty, you are reminded of how much lip gloss unintentionally ends up in your mouth. Believe me, this will stop anyone with taste buds from a lip-licking habit if they have one! I've tried different ways to wear it for a few weeks after purchase. I would eventually wipe off. I've had this for months now, and I don't even bother with it anymore. I really wanted to like this lip gloss, but I just can't wear it.
