I have found this VERY large desktop pad very helpful as most of my computer usage is with bindkeys. Not sure why it is called a mouse pad, when it will hold a drink, keyboard, mouse, cell phone charging stand, a donut, and two candy bars, with extra space for any other personal effects of your choice... The picture represents the product, so I'll keep the product par of the review short. Like many mouse pads, it reminds me of a neoprene wet suit. Smooth and silky on the top, rubbery and grippy on the bottom, with a spongey core. The stitching around the perimeter seems to be a quality job. In Paul Harvey fashion, here is the rest of the story... When my wholesale membership store had a Mac Mini M2 for $499, I broke down and lifted the 40 year old Apple Mac computer ban that has been in place in my house since 1984. With hundreds of dollars of software for my Apple IIe, I found it unforgivable that Apple did not make the Macintosh 128K backwards compatible with the Apple II software, or even offer discounts for those transitioning to the new platform. Since then I have laughed at the single button mouse, low resolution graphics, and overpriced inferior hardware offered by Apple. But time truly does heal all wounds, and with Apple supporting ZSH scripting, and having Linux at its core, I felt it was time to test the waters once again. Thank you giant desktop mouse pad for translating for me the bindkey world of the Mac into English.

I am a big fan of these large desk mats ~ Having a mat that also provides helpful information to memorize is icing on the cake. This could be a nice gift for a new MacOS user. On this particular mat, there is a print fault not caught by quality control. It isn't awful but it does prevent me from giving this all 5 stars at this price point. In spite of this 'blemish', I have so many likes that I still can give this one 4 stars. What I like ~ • No chemical smell. • Soft surface helps with dampening the sound of typing, putting down a cup or pen, mouse clicks, etc. • Allows me to quickly clean up spills ~ water did not permeate the material, a paper towel instantly cleaned everything up. • Soft and smooth, feels comfortable on my elbows and wrists when I rest them on the table. • Comes with a reusable bag for storage ~ I have several mats that I rotate and so this is handy for me. • Information presented is just about right ~ The font is a good size ~ it's not "information overload" like some mats. What I don't like ~ (might be a deal breaker for some) • My only issue is the fault in the print quality. (see pic) There is a "stripe" where the paint was not applied as vividly as the rest of the mat. Had this been a less pricey mat, I may not have minded as much but when priced over 20 bucks, I expect more.

I really enjoy this mouse pad. Firstly, it is huge. I'm able to place my laptop as well as my iPad and have plenty of room to use the mouse. Additionally, it comes with every shortcut you can think of. Heck, I did not know there were so many shortcuts. Thanks to this mouse pad I use shortcuts more often than not. Additionally, because they always in plain sight I have memorized several that I did not know existed. I use this mouse pad as a coaster as well because it waterproof. I have accidentally spilled water and it's a matter of using a towel to clean it. I ordered the Mac OS; however, many of the shortcuts can be used for windows as well, you just use the control key instead of the command key. I could not get the entire mouse pad in the pic; however, know that it extends outward about 5 inches more to the left. I highly recommend this product.

The layout of this guy could have been better thought out. If this were better laid out, there would be a relatively empty spot where the keyboard would go, so that I could look at the shortcuts while still typing. Instead, there's blank spots, or spots where the spacing is large and spaced out in spots where the keyboard wouldn't go. Just a little bit more thought, and this would have been a perfect desktop accessory. The quality is pretty nice. The stitching along the edges of the desk mat is tight and doesn't seem prone to fraying. The text is not printed atop the fabric of the desk mat, so I'm not nervous about the text fading. It's also heavy enough that the thing stays put wherever I put it. It's also massive. Plenty of space for my keyboard, keyboard stand, and mouse pad.

I have been wanting something to help me remember short cuts on my MacBook. This is has a smooth surface and rubbery underside. Some of the wording has a rough translation like: “move your wrists in each 20 minutes”, which I don’t really want printed on my mouse pad but not a big deal. I started trying the short cuts and lots of them don’t work at least for my 2019 MacBook Pro. Plenty of them do work to be of help.

This x-large mouse pad is really helpful in addition to being colorful and stylish -- it provides a quick look at shortcuts for my system. It is comfortable to use for long periods of time and very durable. I'm not ashamed to admit that I had had a couple of spills on it and it's easy to clean up. The mat helps to protect my desk as well as my wrists. I also love the little character in the center of the mat. Overall, I highly recommend this Mouse Pad to anyone looking to spruce up their workspace.
