Why did you pick this product vs others?: Had one for years but lost it. This one is just like it and it does what it says it will do.

Don't listen to negative reviews. I was a medic in the Army and an Army practical nurse. The device is the only thing to touch your bare skin period. Keep your other hand up in the air or rest it off you arm. It has crystals that create a small shock to help aid in the healing process. Learn to feel for knots then zap the middle of the inflammation. Also look up the pressure and Accu trigger points. I tried the pen looking one with two tips it blows compared to this one

I don't know if this really works, I can't say that it's a placebo effect or it really works. It seems to give me temporary relief in my arthritic joints. I gave it a 4 star review because you just have to try it for yourself.

Great product, strong plastic body construction with steel handle. I think the reason the body is plastic is because the device sends out sparks. An electrostatic charge moving from an internal spark plug like to the external tip. It didn't seem to work for me like other claim, but I believe it might work for certain chronic pain.

I have bought 5 for friends. They seem to work but as you see in the picture the plunger part dud not have the black cap and we are older and find it hard to push. Wondering if they were missing a part?

When I first tried to push the plunger on this, I felt a shock, but it was on my the fingers holding on to the “T” handle, not where the point of the device was pressed. Same thing happened repeatedly; the shock was never coming from the metal tip. When I took the device apart, I saw it was basically a gas grill lighter (the part generating the spark when the trigger was pressed) with a plastic cap containing the metallic tip, which seemed to be intended to direct the spark to the desired area. The rest of the body was plastic, but the handle was METAL, which is probably why the spark was getting channeled through that instead of the tip. Perhaps my unit is defective, but it certainly isn’t doing anything like was it’s descibed to do or what other reviewers have talked about. My wife has issues with chronic neck pain, so I was hopeful this might give some relief. But so far I can’t do anything with it except make my fingers tingle. Useless.

Was delighted to find a new one. When you pull the plunger you need to touch the area the hurts. Great for Fibromyalgia trigger points. You get a little electric shock which you may find unpleasant. I can tolerate that better that someone trying to massage painful area. It is worth money. You can also unscrew it and sand the copper area if it gets dulled after awhile.

Great product. I have used it many times. I have read other comments where people talk about how it shocks them. It's supposed to!!

This works for pain from arthritis or old injuries. Easy to carry& easy to use. Cuts down on medication use.

I like the product so far, not that easy to use, not recommend for an elderly person with weak finger muscles, takes quite a push on the red button to get it to activate

It does help loosen tight muscles but (for me with fibro) not long lasting. It’s still a go to in pain management for me
