Works as expected for a Sabrent unit
Bought this early January 2026 so far works great, charging is same as any other charger I have owned. Seems pretty solid, and having 7 ports is great. LED's are as bright as I was hoping but good enough just need to lean over to see them. It's great that each port has a power button. I really don't feel any heat when I touch the unit.

Solid connectivity
I have 2 of these in my sim rig. Easy to use, love the individual power buttons per port. Only thing I wish is that the cord was a little longer to allow for more mounting flexibility.

Helped me solve a problem
I've been using an external USB optical drive on an old iMac for years. I recently got a new iMac and found that the original drive worked with it, but multiple newer drives did not. I thought it was because I was using the drives' USB-C connectors. With a USB-C to USB-A hub one of the newer drives worked, sort of, but not what I would call WELL. Most drives could not read CDs. They could load CDs, with difficulty, but could not read data from them. Could not play music, import tracks, or even copy raw data. This hub solved the problem. All the drives can now read CDs, DVDs and blue-ray disks over both the USB-A and USB-C connectors on their 2-headed cables. Apparently newer-model iMacs have power limitations on their I/O ports when used for USB-C and the newer optical drives draw more current than my oldest drive. I have not found any way to complain to Apple about that.

I have used it less than a year and it stopped working
stopped working less than a year later. Power to the hub is working but none of the USB ports are anymore.

Great 7 port USB hub with one unexpected minor flaw
Sabrent 7 port usb-c hub: Overall a great hub, with a nice mix of A, C, and power ports. Pros: - Its nice to have it plug into the computer's USB-C port. - It's powered, and the one 20 watt USB-C power port works even for a power hungry Pi 5, which is really convenient - the cables plug in on the side, which makes the hub sit more firmly on the surface, and makes cable runs neater. - the power switches are mechanical, with visible in and out positions. Con: The only con is that, unlike the advertised images, the power indicating leds are deeply recessed, and impossible to see unless you look straight down on the unit from above (see the photos comparing the led lighting to my old 4 port hub, which can be seen clearly at all angles). I can see this being a deal-breaker in some cases. I don't mind too much, as I can still see the mechanical switch position, but I'm deducting a star for the bogus images that claim you can see the leds at an angle. You can't.

Great Value
Works great. It is used to connect two external drives, I like the switching capability instead of direct connect, and it is giving me great transfer speeds. The only draw back is the short connection cable as I use an Uplift desk with the PC tower under the desk. I purchased a USB 20G extension cable to accommodate.

Well made solid device.
Works well with my current PC setup, although the indicator lamps could be brighter or angled toward the user. Provided space saving on my cluttered desktop. I did not have issues with heat after data transfer. Build quality was good. I would buy it again.

Hasta el momento, funciona perfectamente Lo encuentro caro, pero dado el incremento de corriente de los diferentes accesorios que necesito conectar al ordenador ha sido un acierto.

Arrived yesterday. Plugged it in……and nothing. Contacted Sabrent yesterday, as recommended by Amazon. Got an automated response and nothing since. Sabrent appeared to be the most recommended on most websites that I visited, so we will see if I get any response today. If not, it’s getting returned and I will try to get a more reliable brand.

Je m'en sers pour faire fonctionner un volant, un pédalier, un HOTAS et un autre joystick. Sa marche parfaitement bien, plus besoin de débrancher les périphériques en fonction du jeux au quelle je joue. C'est parfait
