The Positives > The capsules are easy to swallow, which is important for someone like me that dislikes popping pills at the best of times. > There's no unpleasant aftertaste, and the capsules settled well on my stomach. Helped with my digestion and made my bowels more regular after about two weeks of taking it did I noticed an improvement. No adverse reactions were noticed after taking . Swallowing is ok. May be a bit big capsules for some but it will go down better with a few sips of water.

[Psyllium Husks Capsules - 2200mg] Psyllium is a useful source of fibre and one I've used for a long time to supplement my diet, though usually just in powdered form which I'll add into a shake or yoghurt so I was happy to try these capsules, as they're convenient to take any time without needing to mix up a drink etc. You get 120 standard gel caps, which are easy to swallow and tasteless. They come supplied in a decent, sealed, screw-top container so that's all good, but given the recommended dose of these is 4 caps, 3x daily, this bottle only contains 10 days supply, and that does make this rather poor value for money, which is why I've only felt able to give them a 3* review. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program, however I only order and review items I intend to use and always review objectively and honestly. The modern Western diet is horribly short on fibre, which is something the human digestive system finds rather useful. Without it, your internal conveyor belt (I'm using a simile here) can grind to a halt, which causes constipation, bad breath, wrecks your microbiome, and damages your health. Look at what happened to Elvis in the end! Psyllium is a natural source of fibre that is commonly taken to help everything run smoothly and without strain. This particular capsule form comes with added natural ingredients of calcium, caraway and fennel, to assist the gut. I'm finding it very helpful, even though I try and maintain a good diet. The recommended dosage is four capsules a day, but as I eat a large bowl of porridge every day for breakfast I'm halving the dose, to one with lunch and one with supper. Taken with plenty of water, the psyllium expands quite a bit in your tummy, helping you to feel full, which can also assist with dieting. I'm finding this supplement is helping to regularise my digestion, and keeping things regular. In official terms, my gut motility has improved. In turn I feel more energetic and healthier. I'll be happy to purchase more when this bottle runs out, and I happily recommend it to you with a five star rating.

The marketing team weren’t exactly on top form when they named this product ‘Colon Complex’, however much it may be accurate. That aside, this is a good product…I just won’t be leaving to bottle on view when we have guests. The capsules are easy to swallow and have no taste or smell. They are vegan friendly and there is a months supply if you take the suggested four a day. I’ve been using other brands of psyllium husk capsules for around 3 months now and these appear to be at least as good. Price-wise these are competitive, but unlike my previous brand these also contain fennel, caraway and calcium, so thumbs up there. I’ve tried psyllium power previously and find it a grim experience taste and texture wise, so the capsules are a great way to take it. The health benefits of soluble fibre are medical fact and psyllium husk is an excellent source. I’m happy to get more fibre in my diet and more soluble fibre doing good things in my blood stream. One word of advice if you haven’t used psyllium husk before: you might want to creep up on it and maybe start with two capsules a day for a few days. It’s quite powerful and at full dose will give you lots of wind and scour your bowels clean when you’re new to it, so caveat emptor!

J'ai utilisé ce produit pour un problème de constipation chronique et je le déconseille fortement. Bien qu'ayant suivi les instructions de prise du médicament, j'ai été malade pendant deux jours. j'ai eu très mal à l'estomac et aux intestins au point de ne pas pouvoir, ni manger, ni me lever. J'avais l'impression que mes intestins étaient complètement bloqués. J'ajoute que le produit n'a eu aucune efficacité. J'étais prête à appeler le médecin. Au bout de trois jours, mon estomac et mes intestins sont toujours sensibles. La moindre des choses serait que le produit me soit remboursé.
