Do the handles come up ti knee hight?

Top of handle from floor is 19 inches. So knee height depends on your size.

Will this work on open toe compression stockings

I use this because have not very bendable knees. I have prescription open toed stockings and find that I can usually get the stockings into place by pressing my foot hard onto a hard surface as soon as my toes appear and then pulling the unit up my leg. I adjust any slight positioning of the heel using a long (flexible) shoe horn. There is a knack in doing this. I also use the shoe horn to remove the stockings (I cannot reach my toes because of age).

Do people purchase two for ladies compression tights? or do one leg at a time?

Hi, I don't think using 2 of these would help you with compression tights. Complete Care Shop do a 'double unit' but, that may be only for ordinary tights, I would have a word with the Care Shop. It may be that putting them on physically may be the only thing, but, as I know, you need to be quite fit to do that, which I found hard. To do this, you would need to be sat down, with a buffet in front of you to put your feet on and put on one leg at a time up to knee level and then pull them fully up whilst stood. May I point out that I am male. If female, I think toileting would also be a problem. So 2 individual stockings may be easier to use, and then, this frame is the best that I have seen. Used for compression stockings only. My elderly mother cannot do it on her own, needs strength to put the stocking into position but then easy to pull on, but really needs two.
